Flat-Brim Samurai Chapter 82 - The Commotion Calms Down

A veil concealing Earth's unusual circumstances released. Kenji Musashi reappeared in his home after drifting in an alternate dimension for seemingly 3 days. He looked around ,"Honey, what happened?" ,"KENJI," Ella Musashi yelled out in joy. She was worried, not being able to sleep most nights thinking about her husband. Kenji, with his heart beating at a very amplified rate, asked ,"What happened?" ,"I wanna hear you first," ,"Ok, but first what's the date?" ,"October 23rd 2032," ,"WHAT, but from my senses I've only been gone for about a few days?!? Anyways, I'll tell you what happened." Ella watched as her husband guided her to the couch ,"Where do I start, well, at one moment I was here and then the other I was teleported to a dark dimension. From what I gather right now, it seems that the time there was condensed tremendously. What I want to know is where I was sent and who sent me there…"

They sat there for a while, he watched the news. Around the world, the strong disappeared and then reappeared a year later to the present day. Who or what had done this? ,"What's going on with the kids?" ,"Aki is doing well but Apollo, he had to fight someone for the sake of the world, I just hope he's safe right now." Kenji screamed ,"WHAT?!?" He stretched out his senses and felt his son's presence in Europe, pushed hard by a fight. Kenji got up and ran as fast as he could…

Apollo had just gotten done fighting Narphun, so he decided to sit down, a much needed reward for the hardship that he'd just faced. ,"APOLLO!!!" Apollo saw his father frantically running to him ,"Hi dad." Kenji looked at his battered son, he could feel that Apollo's soul was on the brink but something changed, it was like Apollo's energy itself gained evolution. Apollo gave an exhausted smile ,"I could use a burger and some fries right about now." Kenji let out a soft laugh before walking over to his son, giving him a hug ,"Must've been tough, I'm sorry for being gone, I'm sorry for not being able to protect you," Kenji shed a tear ,"It's ok dad, there was nothing you could do, I sense that many strong people have returned. It seems that someone or something trapped you, believe me dad, I'm just happy to be done… can we go home now?" Kenji smiled and replied ,"Yes, son."

Kenji healed his son's physical wounds, leaving the spiritual wounds to heal themselves. He brought him to his favorite burger joint, Apollo was scarfing down his food. (THIS SHIT IS GOOD AS FUCK!!!) Apollo thought, hearing a sound from behind him. He turned around and saw Cias ,"Hey man," ," Oh hey Apollo," ,"Food good?" ,"Food good." They both giggled returning to their food, they then turned to another sound at the bar ,""DEVAN."" ,"Yo, how're y'all doin," ,"Not bad," ,"Could be better." They all giggled until they saw a man enter the restaurant ,"""NOAH!!!""" ,"That was awesome, what do you guys think," ,"Not bad," ,"Could be better" ,"I'm alright," all four of them in one place giggled as they ate their food.

…Plates and plates of food were stacked on top of each other, they all looked at their checks, eyes widened. ,"Don't worry I got it," Kenji said ,""""Thank you master,"""" all of the boys said, bowing to him. Kenji laughed ,"Calm down, you guys did a lot, this is the least I can do."

After that day, the names of the four spread far and wide as the kids who saved the world. They were visited by some of the families they saved, thanked for all that they did…

… Early in the morning after the commotion calmed down enough he strapped his shoes on, going for a run. Content, he said ,"This is nice."
