Queen Hawa prepared for the meeting with the king and nobles, which she had summoned the night before. As she sat in front of her vanity mirror, she scrutinized herself as if it were her first time. She turned her head from side to side, checking her appearance. Removing her crown, she placed it on the table beside her, using her dominant left hand. Parting her hair in the middle, she tied it into a bun. Raising her head and arching her eyebrows, she said, "I look too good to be a dragon's keeper. Isn't that right?" She gently placed the crown on her head, adjusting it to perfection. "YHÀKADÉI would look better with me."
The trumpet blew, followed by a knock on her door. Her maids had arrived to escort her to the court room. She took one last look at herself before following them. Upon arrival, the chiefs rose to show their respects, and she bowed before the king. They all sat, and after a moment of silence, the meeting began.
