YHÀKADÉI was in a state of emergency. The outlanders' audacity to attack the unprotected commoners the night before was unfathomable. How did mere mortals escape the maze of madness? The king entered, his face grim, and the nobles held their breaths in anticipation.
"What's happening?!" he yelled, turning to Raivem, one of the chiefs. "WHAT AM I HEARING?" The king's eyes blazed with anger, his patience wearing thin. Raivem rose, a knot forming in his stomach, and struggled to speak, his mouth dry and words stuck in his throat.
