CHAPTER 39: ACCEPTING A MASTER

Another four days passed as their journey progressed. The other three had already recovered from their injuries but they were in the room cultivating because they saw how weak they were. Mark was also trying his best to cultivate his soul power so that he could break one gate and at least he would be able to get a skill that he could use now. He used thirty spirit stones within four days and he saw that he was almost getting there. It requires just a small amount before he breaks through but he just opened his eyes and looked forward.

They were seeing the pass point they would pass before they got into the Tianhuan galaxy. He watched as the ship entered the pass point and emerged out from it and they saw a space bustling with life as different cultivators passed by. Different planets were also rotating around, it was a beautiful sight to behold. His eyes suddenly dimmed,

"Elizabeth how I wish you would also be here to witness this beautiful sight," He thought.

"If she was here, will you come here" Liz asked.

"Even if you come here with her, you will constantly be putting her life in danger" Liz explained to him.

"That's true" His dimmed eyes regained their color. The other three also came into the room as they looked at the beautiful sight.

"Come to the main planet" He heard a voice in his mind.

"kekeke" Three ladies appeared outside the Tianhuan planet they gave an evil smile.

"Our prey has entered," One of the ladies who was the one at the control point said.

"We can't enter because this is the domain of a master tier expert," The other lady said.

"We can't enter but we can monitor them," Another lady said as she sat cross-legged.

"Blood art, aura sensor," She said. A mist of blood came out from her body and turned into an arrow pointer that was pointing into the galaxy.

"Let's wait outside for our prey," the lady said as they disappeared.

The ship arrived at the main planet,

"Come to the planet master house," The voice said in his mind again.

"This man must have quite the background," He thought as his ship steered in the direction of the planet master house. The other three were confused but they did not ask any questions because he had been leading them for a long time now.

After two days of traveling, they finally arrived at the planet master's abode. It was a white castle standing by itself in the air. It was covered with a barrier such that no ship could enter unless they passed through the main gate. The ship drove in the direction of the main gate, they got to the main gate. Two ladies were waiting gate, they got down from the ship.

The ladies appeared in front of them,

"Welcome master is waiting for you inside," One of them said as she took Mark and

"Whoosh," she touched Mark and the two disappeared from their sight.

"What!!!" Amelia, Charlotte, and Martins quickly went on guard. They just saw Mark disappear in front of them and his aura also disappeared.

"Calm down," The second lady said but it did not alleviate their fears.

"If we wanted to kill you, we won't take him alone. Don't worry, he knows who he is going to meet. You are ants to us, we won't probably use such a petty method to kidnap and kill you" The lady said. Their fears were alleviated a little as they followed the woman into the castle.

"Where am I" Mark looked around surprised. One second ago, he was with his friends outside the castle and now he is separated from them and he is inside this goddamn castle. He looked at the lady terrified, the frail lady must be at least an instructor-tier expert.

"Don't worry, your friends are safe" He heard an aged voice and turned in the direction of the voice. The old man he saw in the control point was looking outside the huge window. He walked towards the elder and arrived behind him.

"This junior greets senior," He said as he bowed down.

"Just come and stand beside me," The old man said. He went beside the old man and stood behind him.

"The lady is Yen Chin, my tenth sword disciple He said as he looked at the lady.

"She is an instructor-tier expert," He said.

"And also in the sword world stage, she is already forming a world of her own," he said.

"I called you here because I saw the unique sword phantom in you," The old man said. He was alarmed when he heard that.

"Don't worry I know that you have already formed a soul" The old man told him. He widened his eyes when he heard that and looked at the lady but she was looking at them without any expression so he got that the old man must be using a means to hide the conversation from the lady.

"I'm not an old man who will bully a junior over his things," the old man told him.

"Let me introduce myself," he said.

"I'm sword immortal Dun Yun, one of the five cultivators to reach the sword origin in the universe and also the closest one to reaching the divine realm," the old man (Dan Yun) said.

Mark's face turned strange when he heard that.

"And also one of the six master tier leaders of the pure academy" Mark's eyes turned wide when he heard that. The old man took out an ID card and passed it to him.

"No need for formal greetings," He said when he saw that Mark wanted to bow.

"I have a question," Mark said.

"Go ahead" The elder answered.

"How did you know that I have a soul" He asked.

"I have an art I got in my tour so I can sense the soul of others with it but don't worry, only me and Elder Yun own that secret method, so no one knows that apart from us" The old man answered. Mark heaved a sigh of relief when he heard that.

"I called you here for a reason, I want you to be my disciple," The old man said.

"Hmm," he was surprised by the abrupt turn the conversation took. The lady's eye also turned wide.

"I'm not worth...…" He wanted to talk but was interrupted.

"Whether you are worthy or not, that is for me to choose and I say that you are worthy enough so just choose if you want to accept or reject," Dan Yun told him. After sometimes,

"I accept" he gave his answer.

Even though the old man's knowledge about the sword realm is incomplete, he still has far more experience and power than him. Dan Yun is also one of the master-tier experts in the Pure Academy and make his movement in the academy wonderful and he will be able to get resources. Reaching the master tier is just a matter of time for him, he needs to start immediately but he masks it.

"You probably know what's good for you," The old man said as he waved his hand. A table and a jug appeared on the table. He also carefully took out two cups and placed them on the table. The second lady already joined the first, their eyes widened when they saw the jug.

"The soul intoxicating wine" They exclaimed. It is a wine that is brewed from soul products and because soul products are so rare, any soul product is expensive. The wine is brewed from a top-tier soul product, it could make a person who has formed a soul drunk. It also has benefits.

"I actually found this hundreds of years ago in a ruin and I've been keeping it from then because it is too useful, but today I've finally found a worthy disciple of the wine so I can use it" Dan Yun with delight.

"Though we will just be using a drop," He said as he poured a drop of the white wine into the cup while carefully keeping the remaining. Mark clicked his tongue at Dan Yun's stinginess. The two ladies' eyes turned wide from jealousy when they saw that.

"From today onward, with the witness of these my disciples and based on this wine, you are my disciple. Bow to your master" he said. Mark quickly bowed. They chugged down the cup of wine. Immediately Mark drank the wine, he felt dizzy.

"Too potent," he thought surprised. Just one drop is making him feel like this. It went towards his soul and a warm feeling soon encompassed his soul. He closed his eyes and focused on absorbing the energy.

"Kacha" The first minor seal was opened and soul energy filled the space.

"kacha, kacha" the second and third were opened before the remaining soul energy turned into a drop in his soul space. He opened his eyes after observing the changes in the soul while looking at the elder with gratitude and greed.

"I can't give you more of it now, you will earn it when you reach the sword domain stage," The old man told him before turning to his two youngest disciples.

"Do you want to know the reason I chose him and gave him this preferential treatment?" He asked. They nodded their head positively.

"He is a one-in-a-millennia sword genius," The old man said and raised his hand. A sword phantom that was ten meters tall rose from his back.
