The Frog Cubs Return from Pirates of the Caribbean

King's Cross Station in the evening was bustling with activity as the Hogwarts Express arrived at platform nine and three-quarters.

The melodic sound of the train coming to a stop woke Luke, who gently roused Hermione from her sleep on his lap.

Hermione blinked her eyes open and yawned sleepily. "Have we arrived at the station?"

"Yes, we're at King's Cross," Luke replied, helping her to her feet. Hermione gazed out at the darkened platform, her eyes reflecting a mixture of nostalgia and anticipation.

Another semester had ended, and with it came the long-awaited vacation. The thought of being apart from Luke for two months weighed on her.

"Don't forget to write to me!" Hermione said, her voice filled with earnestness as Luke helped her retrieve her suitcase.

"Of course," Luke chuckled and nodded, reassuring her.

As they left the train, Hermione gave Luke a heartfelt hug.

Upon stepping off the Hogwarts Express, Hermione quickly spotted her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Granger, waving eagerly from the crowd.

"Remember—" Hermione began.

"I know, I'll remember to write. Don't worry!" Luke interrupted with a smile, easing her concern.

With a final wave, Hermione hurried over to her parents, suitcase in tow. Mr. Granger waved back at Luke with a friendly gesture.

As Hermione and her family disappeared into the station crowd, Luke prepared to return to his own home in London, where he had lived for the past eleven years.

Since he had already set up the spatial coordinates during the first semester, it didn't take long for him to get home.

When Luke stepped onto the wooden floor, a cloud of dust filled the room instantly.

"Clean up!" he commanded, frowning and covering his mouth and nose. With a wave of his wand, he tidied up the entire room.

He noted that he might need a house-elf. However, thinking of house-elves brought Dobby to mind—the elf who nearly single-handedly defeated Harry. After the Quidditch match, Luke hadn't seen Dobby again and wondered if he had been summoned back by Lucius.

After turning on the lights, Luke retrieved his suitcase from the Kamui space and tossed it in the corner. He then examined the three photos he had received from Frog Cub during a recent trip. The return date was noted as eleven o'clock this evening.

The first photo depicted a rough sea with a mid-sized schooner navigating through the waves. There was nothing particularly unusual about it.

The second photo showed Frog Cub with a clothed monkey, surrounded by a group of ragged sailors working diligently. Again, nothing out of the ordinary.

The third photo, however, was far more intriguing.

Luke was stunned as he examined it. It showed a pitch-black sea illuminated only by the bright moonlight. Frog Cub stood on the mast, while below, a group of skeletons armed with sharp blades and flintlock guns appeared to be both fighting and celebrating. Even the monkey had turned into a skeleton, grinning eerily beside Frog Cub.

"Pirates of the Caribbean?" Luke muttered to himself. He had some recollection of such a scenario, and if he was guessing correctly, the brig might be the Black Pearl.

And those skeletons are undead cursed by gold coins.

"What did the frog cub bring back?"

"Those cursed gold coins?"

Luke glanced at the horse talisman around his neck. The skeleton curse should have no effect on him. Moreover, the undead curse isn't as potent as his Dirty Earth Reincarnation; at least his reincarnation has its own sense of purpose.

He decided to wait until eleven o'clock to see what the frog cub would bring back. In the meantime, he needed to figure out how to deal with the basilisk and Tom .

When Luke left Hogwarts, he had packed the basilisk into a suitcase he made and taken it with him. Tom had been silent for months, seemingly in a deep sleep. There was nothing wrong with pretending to be dead, as Luke's next plan was to find a way to reincarnate Tom into the dirt. It was a pity that such talent couldn't be used for himself.

However, there was a current issue: whether Tom's soul could provide some hair or other DNA. After all, the Dirt Reincarnation required some material from the resurrected.

Luke narrowed his eyes in thought. "This is a bit troublesome..."

He looked at the book cover with the Forbidden Spell Rune written on it and shook his head. Throwing the diary on the table, Luke sat on the sofa and turned on the black-and-white TV, bringing some life to the otherwise quiet house.

At eleven o'clock at night...

"Quack quack!"

With the rapid croaking of the frog, Luke quickly looked up. He saw his frog cub kicking its legs and slumped on the table. The original lotus leaf hat had been replaced by a leather tricorn hat, and there was a telescope strapped to its back.

"So... you brought back a telescope this time?" Luke walked over and poked the tired frog cub with his finger, curious about its find. He had expected a cursed gold coin.

"Cuck!"

The frog cub untied the package from its back and opened it in front of Luke. Inside was an octagonal compass, worn but functional, lying quietly on the table.

"This is…"

Luke picked up the compass, his eyes widening as he read the description that appeared in his mind.

[Jack Sparrow's Compass - A special and precious artifact from the world of "Pirates of the Caribbean".]

[Function: The direction indicated by the compass points to what the owner desires most in their heart. If there is no specific goal, the pointer will not show a direction!]

[Use: Frog Cub formed a deep bond with Captain Jack. When leaving the free ocean, he took this magical compass with him. To use it, meditate on what you desire, then activate the compass and follow the pointer.]

"Jack's compass?!"

Luke looked at the tired frog cub in disbelief. "You were chased by Jack Sparrow for this?"
