"It has come to my attention that you and your wife, in fact, your whole family seem to think that Athena is unworthy of becoming Empress, your own brother offered her to be my mistress. Is that what your family calls love Duke?" Deimos asked

"Your Majesty, I believe you viewing this all wrong, we simply think that our daughter is not fit to be empress due to her lacking," Athena's stepmother said

"It seems I need to spell out for you all to understand what I'm saying. I am deeply in love with your daughter and without her, I will die" Deimos said the last sentence sternly

"I understand what you mean and I hope that you will be able to give my daughter the happy life I couldn't give her" Athena's father said and smiled weakly

"Shall we go?" Athena asked as she stood by the door

"Of course, did you get all you need?" Deimos asked as he walked forward her

"Yes I did" Athena said as she held a book and a bag

"Yes it is, so let's go" Athena said and walked away without looking back

"So what's in the bag?" Deimos asked as they sat in the carriage

"This has my designs," Athena said

"It is a unique bag, did you make it yourself ?" Deimos asked and Athena nodded

"Most of the things I own, I made myself. I don't trust people" Athena said

"I can tell," Deimos said and carried her onto his lap

"What do you think you're doing?" Athena asked

"Carrying my wife" Demos said as laid his head on her shoulder

"Who are you calling your wife?" Athena asked

"You of course" Deimos said and kissed her shoulder

"I'm your fiancee also sit up Deimos Perez, we have things to discuss," Athena said to him

"You can talk, I'm all ears," Deimos said to her

"Okay, I plan to kill one of your administers," Athena said calmly

"Okay…, Wait what!?" Deimos asked when her words finally sunk in therefore making him stop resting on her shoulder

"I said I plan to kill one of your administers," Athena said to him

"No, no baby. I heard that part, but why do you want to kill my administer?" Deimos asked

"He's not someone worth trusting, you just have to trust me on this," Athena said

"You're not giving much here Athena" Deimos said

"I know, I'll give you more in the future, but for now just trust me with what I offer you" Athena said and Deimos just sighed laying his head on her shoulder again

"Okay," Demos said and closed his eyes

The couple stayed like that the whole ride home. The quietness and peace ended up making Athena sleep and by the time she woke up, she was in bed next to a half-naked Deimos
