Huh! Where am I?"

Neolyn woke up in a strange forest.

"Did I get transported into another world?"

She stood up and dusted her clothes and looked around at her surroundings to find out where she was. The place seemed alien to her.

Let's see! What do I remember?"

She tried her best to remember the events that happened before she was teleported here

"Ahh! I remember! The school festival!"

She remembered what happened. She was attending her older sister's school's festival when a bright light shined and blinded everyone. Soon she noticed strange runes in the sky. "that's weird" she thought to herself as she observed the strange pattern in the sky. It suddenly opened a portal and everyone was sucked in.

"where on Zion have i landed in?"

She looked around. It was the obvious thing. Of Course she got transported to another world. She then decided what she wanted to do now.

"Hmmm! What should I do? Wait!"

this might not work, but she had to try it.

she close her eyes, and began emitting a strange aura around her. She was covered in shadows. she opened her eyes in delight!

she was still able to use powers. people from the world of Zion were able to use superpowers and they were known as Espers.

all Espers have a spiritual being of sorts known as the imaginary body. when they 'use their powers', their imaginary body manifests into what they want. and what element they use heavily depended on the user like their traits, personality, things that they want or need etc... Neolyn is a master of the darkness element, often referred to as the shadow empress.

she opened her eyes satisfied that she can use her powers. it makes things a lot easier. she then took a moment to assess her situation. now she was in a strange forest with no explanation of where she is. before she was sucked into the portal she made sure to place anchors on all the people to track them down when they reached their destination. she could sense them faintly. there were roughly 149 of them. And to her luck almost all of them were in the same place, minus a few that were scattered.

she could teleport to them if she wanted to, considering they were very close by. but she decided to walk the way there. since she could pick up the few people who scattered. but before she started her journey. a little girl showed. Neolyn saw that she was injured and was running away from something, behind her was a wolf which carried a little boy almost the same age as the girl, but he was seriously injured. before she could say anything, the girl was suddenly startled and clasped her hands together.

suddenly a strange smoke appeared and 6 wolves suddenly spawned, surrounding Neolyn. the girl sensed something and ran away, but the wolves didn't let Neolyn make a move. Neolyn looked in worry, but understood that the girl was being chased and she couldn't trust anyone right now.

But the wolves were annoying. it's as if they were summoned to kill her. She flicked her hand and dark tendrils appeared form the ground and instantly killed the wolves. they turn into smoke as Neolyn started walking in the direction that the girl ran.

panting heavily, the girl about the age of 12, ran as fast as she could. three wolves ran with her to protect her. the wolf in the back carried a young boy who was seriously injured. the wolves were summoned by her and were under her control.

she felt 6 of her wolves suddenly die.

unable to move anymore, she stopped to rest.

looking over at her brother who was barely breathing, she got worried.

"Nathan! look at me now, just hold on! i-i'll save you" she spoke with tears in her eyes.

she began to panic as he was slowly losing breath. at this rate, he wasn't going to make it. She was tired and couldn't take another step, but she needed to save her brother. suddenly she hears an arrow fired at her. she barely dodges it.

"ugh!"

the arrow manages to graze her. she looks at the direction from where the arrow came from

"boss, there she is!" a woman emerged from the bushes.

"roger!" two men came out in opposite directions and surrounded her.

the three people wore military uniform. One of the men was buff! and his uniform had more medals than the other two indicating that he was their leader of sorts. the woman drew her bow and the men unsheathed their swords at the girl.

"give it up! Wolf-leader you have used up all energy to run from us! you can't fight us!" the leader said to the girl.

the girl refusing to yield, stood up and stared with bloodshot eyes.

"the boy's good as dead. should we put them out of their misery?" the woman asked ready to release her bow.

then suddenly darkness began surrounding them. they became very confused and prepared to intercept the attacker. the girl felt very strange, like her pain was being taken away from her! She realized that she was being healed. she looked at her brother and he was also being healed.

she suddenly gained energy and was refreshed and could possibly take on an entire army.

"what!"

"who's there? reveal yourself!"

a young girl, no older than 15 walked out revealing herself. the darkness radiated from her. the leader pointed his sword.

"who are you? how did you leave the castle?"

the girl stood quietly looking at the wolves. she suddenly disappeared and reappeared behind the 'wolf-leader'. dark tendril shot out from her back grabbing the 'wolf-leader' and her brother and dragged them into her shadow without much resistance.

"huh!"

"now that the kids are gone! let us adults, talk business" the girl looked at trio with a calm face, but the bloodlust in her eyes was enough to paralyze a dragon with fear.

they armed their weapons and prepared to attack, but with a slight nod her shadow tendrils rapidly shot forth and sent them flying.

"you! who are you?" the leader yelled.

"I'm Neolyn and the kids sent their wolves wolves at me, so I wanted to see what's up!" Neolyn spoke with soft voice.

"but it turns out some big-up-to-no-good grown ups are trying to harm them! so I've decided that i'll step in!" now her voice turned into that of a hunter who got his prey cornered.

the woman realizing that long ranged attacks are no good against her tendrils, switched to a sword and charged at Neolyn.

"No! Bea! don't get too clos-" before the leader could warn her, the tendrils grabbed her and swung at full force the nearest tree.

**blarghh!**

Bea was vomiting blood, but before she could recover she was thrown at the other guy running towards Neolyn.

the leader ordered the two to retreat. they had to run as far as away possible. with Neolyn's tendrils being able to reach virtually anywhere, all they could to do was run.

seeing as they've retreated, Neolyn saw no need to chase after them.

"hmm! they've left! now i can properly tend to the sibling's wounds." Neolyn said to herself as she summoned a portal to her shadow dimension.

the kids walked out from the dark dimension to be greeted by the big sister who has just saved them.

"hello kids! i'm Neolyn Aurora and we are gonna have a talk!" she said with a smile.
