CHAPTER 18-ESCAPE NIGHT GONE WRONG

The sun was setting and I couldn't take my eyes off the horizon. The dark consume the light and the stars above are beginning to sparkled, giving beautiful sight of the night. I let a deep breath while hugging myself. Teeth were chattering in the cold " It's sure are freezing tonight" i mutter to myself. The ship keeps rocking. I tightly gripped on the ship taffrail to balance myself. The moon is full and it's mesmerizing. The sea water keeps splashing and I didn't mind them but waiting for our chance of escaping tonight.

Sa tagal ng pag galaw ng barko parang masusuka na ako. I hold my gut and covered my mouth. I almost gagged but still fighting, I don't wanna loose my dinner. Ang hina ng stamina ng babae'ng ito. Mahina katawan niya walang kwenta! Napasuka nalang ako ng wala sa oras."Gwakkkkk!! gwakkkk eww..!"

"We're under attack!!"

I lean back with confusion on my face but still turn green. Wala na akong pake sa mga nangyayari Hindi maganda ang pakiramdam ko.

"Prepare the canon!!"

The crew men keep shouting dahil sa pagkataranta nalunok ko ulit ang dapat kong maisuka. Mas Lalo akong nandiri pero mas kinabahala ko Kase may barkong paparating. The crew rushed outside preparing the cannons. They began to release fire and the ship was hit twice in a row.

"Secure the princess!!" Lord Francois grabbed me and lock me inside the Captains cabin but not a moment ago Luna Crest break in and grabbed me out of the ship. We both fell on the cold sea water. Luna Crest haul me up to a boat before he lift himself up.

Fear was choking me at that moment.

I can't keep my eyes off the ship from burning. The two sail's crashed down. And the pirates have their chances and and attacking the crew.

"Lord Francois...!!!!" I heard nothing from him but voices of men protecting their ship.

I feel hopeless as we drifted away "Luna the loads ! we can't leave them there!"

"What do you mean?"

"The fairies are inside of that box!"

"Why didn't you tell me..!" he didn't hesitated and jump on the water and climb back to the ship. The clouds began to cover the sky. Lumakad narin ang ihip ng hangin at hindi ko mapigilan ang pag-ikot ng maliit na bangka ket mag sagwan pa ako.

How can this happen!! My plan is ruin by those Pirates. I'm dead! I know pirate attacks, it can be a terrifying, life-changing situation. And what should I do. I can't fight back, I can't just hide but I don't wanna be a burden or be a nuisance to them. I'm just getting on their way. Pirates have always been around. The golden age of piracy in the 17th and 18th centuries. This is the very first time I've experience to be under attack. Why now! bad timing!

The boat is out of control. The current is too strong. I'm drifting away from the ship. I saw a enormous shadow from behind and I raise my head and the only thing came to me was I'm going to die tragically in the sea.

I heard a calming noise with a slow rhythm. Feeling it's icy cold running to up to my waist. I smell some seaweeds and salted air. I slowly open my eyes and saw a blue sky above me. Clouds forming shapes on its own. And I'm Lying, soaking wet on the sand. Waves crash against the shore, and seagulls cry from above. The only noise that remains is wave after wave hitting the sand, a gentle crash of freedom and peace

I raise my hands and it's looks wrinkling from being in the water for too long. Tears filled my eyes and it's warm as it ran to the side of my face. I remember how those waves consume me whole. And I was able to survive. I survived

I stand on my feet and saw a beautiful white beach and never find any souls around. I have a thought that maybe I washed on an island. Then that woke me up. I'm lost!

"I'm lost!!!!!!" I shouted and my voice echoed and the birds flocks away from the trees. Disturbing their peace. "Help!!!!! .." napigilan Ako ng mapiyok ako at umubo, sakit sa lalamunan!

I heard a flapping wings nearby and shadow begins to block the light. I turned my shoulder to see what it is and I fell on the sand in shock.

I should be glad because I'm finally here but I can't tell if I'm safe in their hands, since I rely on Luna Crest before coming here, but I came first huhu.

"Oh my lord, save me Amen" i murmur under my breath with chuckles in disbelief. I just washed on the beach of Zendalia. Those wings are the evidence.

"A human?"

"Send this message to the Empress. A woman wash a shore, it a sign of bad omen on our land just as the oracle says that it's coming, and that was today"

I heard them talking but my thoughts is missing. They snatch me and I freak out as I felt they raise me up to the air. "Don't kill me, don't kill me I hate height!!!" I shouted while pressing my eyes close. I'm trembling non stop. But they didn't let me go. I open my eyes and was flabbergasted and astonished at the same time as I saw the great tree of Zendalia. The home of the greatest living pixies.

I saw fairies flying around but as soon as they began to make an eye contact they flew away. I saw a beautiful and cute houses below and heard them shutting their doors and windows.

The trumpets began and the bell ringing like some intruder trespass their land. Alarming the people to go home. I just lost my life today. I came here before Luna. The Empress will have me for lunch.

As we getting close and closer the trees the beauty of it was beyond my expectations. Branches stretching too wide, giving shelters to some fairies.

We landed on a balcony and there's a two guards beside the double door, flinched and withdraw their spears at me.

Binaba ako nung humahawak sakin pero Hindi maganda ang pagkalanding ko nasungadngad ako at narinig ko pa silang natataranta. Nasaktan ako kase tumama ang ilong ko sa sahig. Umupo ako at nilingon sila sabay sama ng tingin.

They're fuzzing and wipe their hands on their clothes "Maligo ka dun!! Ahhhh"

"Human smell is terrible!!"

"She got germs on you!"

Sininghot ko naman kili kili ko at amoy alat lang siya. And from that moment I'm sitting comfortable in the cell. Yup totally locked up for good. I saw a someone covering his body on a blanket. Okay rin may kasama ako sa loob ng kulungan. It's face were covered in a piece of dirt clothes. I'm worried because it's it's not breathing. Maybe they left their prisoner starved to death. And I'm next.

I remove the cloth and shouted my heart out. The voice echoes inside the cell. Tumakbo ako at niyugyog Ang selda. "Tangna nyo bat may kalabera dito!! palabasin nyo ko dito!!"

Napapikit Ako sa pakas ng hangin ng may dumaang mga fairy guard sa selda at bumaba. "Hoy bat may kalansay dito?!"

"oh that one? You don't have to worry next one you'll turn like him"

"What?!!!"

"Just stay calm in your cute cell until you'll turn like him and he won't be alone"

"You son of a betchin!"

They unlocked the cell and I walked back and snatch me. Until they lead me to a large hall. It's a Great hall and I saw three throne from afar. Even on a distance I saw how enchanted their Empress was. Her wings are different from those fairies. She has that bird like wings like an angel in disguised. Her presence was too strong. I can sense her power. Giving the rooms ambience blazing in fire. I'm feeling a sense of not being welcome.

I gulped hard as they put me down. As my feet hit the floor her eyes widen. Her finger call someone and I saw a fairy came with a mop on their hands and she's scared of me. And other are standing behind her waiting for the Empresses command.

I narrowed my eyes on a young man beside the Empress. His palm are resting on his chin, smirking at me. "List some spices to give some luscious aroma from this meat over here "

I flinched as he pointed his finger at my direction and I look back to see anyone but its just me."Me?"

"What else could it be?"

"Airell stop it don't scare her!" The Empress shut him and turn her gaze back to me "And also don't forget to put some chili"

Nagsitayuan ang mga balahibo ko ng marinig iyon at nagtawanan sila ng Reyna. May dalawang tao na nakatayo sa tabi nila na umiiling habang nasa batok ang kamay.

"And human thought were some carnivals!"
