CHAPTER 62- BANISHED

LUNA ZIEGLER

Murmuring voices like bees swarming around. The silent night that I long is gone. I pitied many civilians cried for the lost of their king. I can tell it that these people have no rights to protest and speak to fight against this new era.

"Hopefully the royal family is alright" I heard my sister muttering

"Our princess is not an idiot" sambit ko at binatukan ako ni ate.

We go back to the center of the town. And saw man rushing  away and one of them is already covering his ears. The people are questioning everything, puzzled and confused. Anxious of what will their kingdom have become. I glanced up and saw the flag flapping in the air and the family emblems are still on its place, then this kingdom will still have the chance to get it back. I know it's risky but I trust the princess.

And hopefully Luna crest will be healed in no time.

The soldiers leaves immediately. And I saw a shadow entering the woods. We and the lunarian immediately investigate, sneaking in the bushes to see what they are up to and they pushed the button but nothing happen. It's must be button for that bomb. We came out from our hiding and give them a big blow and they laid unconsciously to the ground. Vanessa and Quartz tied them up fast.

"Luna Ziegler behind y..."  Natahimik naman sila ng may nagsilabasang kawal. And we're already surrounded. I felt a sharp tip of the blade on my nape. I sighed and he ordered me to put down my weapon. My poor dagger are now tainted with dirt.

"Geez I love that dagger" I said with a pissed. I raised both of my hands and turn my face and saw the General. Another plan failed I'm sorry my dear Princess, guess what my home now will be that big house.

I was left hanging, confused when they began to kneel down before me. I look at my sister's and they shrugged their shoulders.

"I have failed to protect the royal family.." he keeps talking and I only do is scratch my temple.

"....?" 

He just kneel and now talking about being an idiot Infront of their archenemies "You came to save my people from the bomb"

"You knew about the bomb?"

"We were the once ordered to plant the bomb, we came here to stop them but you save us, you save thousand of civilian, I don't know how to thank you.."

I scratch my temple, because I didn't do anything, the one who save the people are the princess. But I can't trust this people because they are tied with that woman.

"Are you trying to trick us?"

"This is not a time for jokes you save them what can we do in return, I can't live to kill innocent people so..."

"O...kay kay stop I hate to break up with you I hate drama's. You come here to stop the bomb and what would the Queen's reaction that her soldiers are against her now.."

"She's not a Queen, I never wish to work with a criminal. My Queen is Edellfien and no one. I don't care if I became a rebel but I'm not following orders from that witch"

"Witch?" Oh poor old lady been called a witch. Deserve

"She perform witchcraft. I once control by it but one of the ladies-in-waiting of my princess help me fight against it and I woke many of my scouts"

Oh so that's explains it " oh....kay d'you know that were actually helping you, were helping the civilian.."

"Please help us overthrowing the new Queen. I can serve her just like how I serve my beloved Queen Edellfien. I can't lead my army with that dictator. I don't care if I became a rebel"

"Ok, okay I know what's your point but we're not helping you, we have our own mission and now it's settle"

He stood up "Its okay if you not helping us, but I can lead my army to war"

"War?" I heard Luna Vanessa voice and i gulped. "And why is that, sounds interesting " when she has something in mind, all we do is followed her every command. She stop in front of men head high, fiercely. "But, how can we trust you and this is not some tricks"

"I can tell it, you know something that we don't" said the general

"Of course, I asked you once, I, will lead the army"

"As long as those people up there will be banished from my homeland, and if that happen I will be your knight to lead us that's a promise"

"You're willing even we are a lunarian?" The other soldiers were shock to hear it and Luna Quartz put out her dagger. But the general did really asked for help from their enemies.

"I had no choice, I can trust you because you save the life of my people"

"Then do as I say"

"Whatever it maybe"

"Moan if you dare" the soldiers blushed in embarrassment. And they did and i tried to stone face, but I'm dying inside. "I'm just kidding y'all, follow me, I have something to show you"

From a distance we saw a smoke rising and as we go further and further deep into the woods. We found ourselves a meadow and I saw the king cooking his own fish on a stick. The soldiers came out running but the Juneau blocked them, withdraw their swords but they just bowed their head to the ground, in respecting and honored of their beloved king.

The king was confused and he left his fish burnt. He stood up while carrying his proud cooking. I saw that he even simmered something might be a soup. I open it and it was regrettable. I wish I never done that. The rancid smell caught me next; my face twisted then sank. It was a burning stink, fishy and dead. Like a charred sweaty rat filled with unusual ingredients. I covered and and saw Luna Quartz rushed and open the lid and saw her waved her hand and pinched her nostrils, the smell reach me and I'm tightening my throat to hood back the soup wanting to expel from my stomach.

"Who the heck cooked this?!"

"I am" said the proud king and Luna Quartz melted like an ice cube.

The king turn his gaze to his men

They were crying like a poor child and the king hussed them and he gathered them at the center. The Juneau went to the woods to guard. And I excuses myself to get the aristocrats and other civilian to flee Estheria. Esthelian volunteered to come with me but her father forbade her, but he stop when she saw something on her daughter, gallant and bold in the face of danger. He maybe realize that her daughter is like her deceased wife.

Esthelian grab herself a sword and confronted me with a punch on my chest. "You brainiac" pinang gigilan niya ako na pinipikot ng pisnge ko

"The princess herself told me she won't bow to no one especially in crime and I noticed it. Such an honor to meet you and have this incredible journey."

"I thank you for your loyalty" she said and We left immediately.

I scooped her on my arms and I jump on the branches so we can go reach there on time. And as we arrived we slipped through the alley and found the streets like a ghost town. "Where are the people?"

We go out and open each houses and there's no soul left to be seen.

"Where are the aristocrats?"

"Your highness is that you?" We turn our shoulders to see who it was and a man  rushing and catch his breath and almost hug the princess but stop himself and bowed to her. I looked at him and he flinched, he looked exactly like that woman "who's this?" I asked

"Forgive me, I'm Stevann von dutch a baron" he introduced himself and I smirked, so this is her brother

"Are you single?" I asked some ridiculous question and he looked at me with confusion "Don't worry I'm straight" I saw him shivered and turn green. Loko to ah kala niya siguro papatol ako sa lalake.

"Good sir where are my people?"

"They are already on the way to the meadow. I come back here to check the entrance. And the soldiers successfully sealed the tunnel and check if there is any civilian left tsaka Isa nalang ang tunnel na hindi ko pa pinapasara kundi yung papunta sa Bel'air, the king help our people building enough tent for everyone"

"Thank you very much, my father decided to declare a war"

"I'm willing and honored to joined the army and serve the monarchy"

We heard the marching scouts coming in our way and we hid and they're all over the place. The general manage to woke up

half of scouts yets why are there still more of them? Maybe this soldiers are just clone? It's one way to find out
