Chapter 5

As the message from Osman arrives again, Palwasha's face breaks into an enigmatic smile. She doesn't know why she gets angry with him at times, yet eagerly anticipates his texts.

Hey Palwasha, how are you? I hope I didn't disturb you during your studies.

I am fine, she writes with an air of nonchalance, leaving aside other matters to discuss the project she had sent him.

Well, Palwasha, your project is truly remarkable; though some changes are required, overall it is quite impressive.

Thank you," she replies.

By the way, Palwasha, tell me why are you always so irritable? Why can't you talk normally like other people? I am not like everyone else, okay? And if I'm bothering you, then why do you wait for my messages?" he inquires.

Putting her phone aside, she contemplates, "What is happening to me? Why do I eagerly await his messages? What is the reason behind this inexplicable attraction towards him? Who is he, and what does he do? How does he know me so well? Could there be a deeper purpose behind his actions, or is he merely flirting with me like other boys? But when it comes to the project, I can comprehend that it might be an excuse to get closer to me. They say Allah has bestowed women with intuition to discern a man's intentions, but I know his motives—why do I still engage with him? Didn't I promise myself that I wouldn't get attached to any guy? Why all this contemplation?

Lost in thought, she glances at her watch. "Oh, it's too late; I must go to the university."

As soon as she arrived at the café, she was approached by an attendant who said, "Madam, your parcel has arrived."

Perplexed, she replied, "I didn't order anything, so where did this parcel come from? Are you sure it's for me?"

The attendant responded, Yes, ma'am, you are Palwasha Khateeb, right?

Yes I am .

This parcel is for you. We don't know who sent it; we only received an order to deliver it to you. Please sign here.

Curious, she received the parcel and returned to her hostel room instead of going to class. She was eager to see what was inside and who had sent it, though also a bit apprehensive.

With a mix of excitement and trepidation, she began to open the parcel, wondering what mysteries it held and why someone had sent it to her.
