Noticing this, he was somewhat surprised. This guy is only at level one, yet he can eat so much. After thinking for a moment, he tore off another large piece of meat from the wild boar's carcass. This piece of meat was about the same size as a wild boar leg. Then, Gobura ate the entire piece of meat in front of Goburo.
Goburo was dumbfounded by the amount he could eat. This appetite was almost catching up to his own.
"Are you full?" Goburo asked.
"Yes, I'm full," Gobura quickly nodded. In reality, he wasn't full yet, but he felt that if he said he wasn't, Goburo would probably hit him again.
"Really full?"
"Yes..." Gobura glanced at the remaining wild boar meat in Goburo's hand and swallowed his saliva.
Seeing that look in Gobura's eyes, Goburo knew exactly what he was thinking. This guy was still hungry. He handed over the last leg and said, "Continue eating! Eat it all if you can."
Upon hearing Goburo's words, Gobura was about to snatch it again but remembered the slap he received. So he slowly took the meat from Goburo's hand and then began to eat voraciously.
Watching this scene, Goburo was very satisfied. He could still teach him well. Not bad.
Before long, Gobura finished the remaining meat as well, and his belly became noticeably rounder.
"Burp~"
"Are you full this time?"
"Yes, I'm full, really full," Gobura quickly replied. This time he wasn't lying; he was genuinely full.
Once Goburo confirmed that Gobura wasn't lying, he was secretly amazed. Despite being much smaller in size, Gobura's appetite was only slightly smaller. Could it be that Gobura had some special bloodline?
Even if he didn't have any special bloodline, just the fact that he could eat more than an average goblin made him more formidable. After all, based on that Devour skill, the more monster meat he ate, the faster he would improve his strength.
"How does it feel to be full?" Goburo asked.
"It feels great, very comfortable. I've never felt this good before."
"Good to hear. From now on, follow me and don't talk about what we do. I'll make sure you eat your fill every day."
Hearing Goburo's promise, Gobura nodded eagerly and firmly trusted Goburo.
Although Goburo would hit him, he also made sure he could eat his fill. He loved the feeling of being full so much that he would do whatever Goburo asked as long as he could eat his fill.
Although they were full now, Goburo didn't give up on hunting. His strength was still too weak, and he needed to simulate as much as possible to improve his abilities.
However, before that, he needed to recruit some underlings. After all, he couldn't waste the corpses of the monsters.
With that in mind, he said to Gobura behind him, "Let's go, we're heading back."
"Okay."
Not long after, the two of them returned to the camp, back to the same cave they started from. Goburo noticed that ninety percent of the goblins were sleeping, while the remaining ten percent were idling around. None of them were trained.
Goburo could easily understand this situation since these goblins had only recently been born. Although they were naturally fluent in the language of monsters, no one had taught them anything else. They only acted according to their instincts.
Seeing these goblins in a state of lethargy, Goburo suddenly felt grateful for being a modern person who understood the principle of reaping what you sow.
After the two entered the cave, a few goblins who were idling around glanced at them and then looked away.
Meanwhile, Goburo carefully selected his future subordinates. The cave was very dark, but such darkness didn't affect the goblins' vision. Goburo could see clearly.
Goburo's selection criteria were straightforward: they had to look foolish and easily deceived. However, as he glanced around, he realized that every face there looked equally dumb. It seemed like it didn't matter whom he chose.
Just as he was about to randomly pick two goblins, he heard a commotion behind him.
Goburo suddenly sensed something and turned to look.
He discovered that the noise was coming from the direction of the troll cave as if they were waking up. So he quickly grabbed Gobura and ran to the side.
Fortunately, the troll didn't get up very quickly. By the time it fully stood up, Goburo and Gobura had already hidden themselves. As expected, the troll headed toward the goblins' cave.
Goburo, observing from the shadows, was curious about the troll's intentions.
The troll let out a roar toward the goblin cave, instantly waking up all the goblins.
Then, a few of the largest goblins quickly ran out of the cave, followed by the rest of the goblins after witnessing the scene.
Seeing the terrified expressions on the goblins' faces, the troll's eyes revealed a smug smile. It seemed quite satisfied with the goblins' fearful and ridiculous appearance.
Then, the troll punched a few of the tallest and skinniest goblins, crushing them flat. The sight of flesh and blood flying scared many goblins.
Goburo, hiding in the darkness, was astonished by the troll's strength. The troll's power was so terrifying that it could flatten goblins with a single punch. Although Goburo didn't know the exact extent of the troll's abilities, it should be at least above level ten.
Troll: "A bunch of useless creatures! How do you hunt? Food has been getting scarcer lately. If you bring such little food next time, it will be your fate!" It pointed at the flattened goblins while speaking.
Hearing the troll's words, the goblins felt nothing but fear. The pressure the troll imposed on them was immense. After showing off its dominance in front of the goblins, the troll, satisfied with their submissive behavior, left the area.
Having witnessed this scene from the shadows, Goburo's determination to kill the troll and become the leader grew stronger. He didn't want to live in constant danger every day.
However, he changed his plan for now. It would be a waste to recruit those goblins. He decided to secretly improve his strength first. As long as he was careful, he shouldn't be discovered.
"Gobura, let's go. We'll continue hunting."
"Okay."
Although Gobura was already full, he didn't dare to disobey Goburo's words.
The two of them returned to their usual hunting ground. After spending such a long time in this area, Goburo understood why no humans had discovered it in the simulated world even after seven years.
The goblin territory was located in a huge valley, and the entrance to the valley was conveniently hidden behind a large patch of vines.
These vines grew naturally, and unless one searched very carefully, it would be impossible to find the entrance to the valley.
