After dealing with that individual, an awkward situation arose in the space. After briefly speaking with Nakano-san, Kazuma went back to his room because the following day he would resume working at his part-time job.
They will receive double pay these two days because they will work the entire day both tomorrow and the day after.
Although, before this, he would be put to the test or, in a sense, he would be meeting the idols he would be working for in the future as a sub-manager, and it would be their choice, which might affect his job.
At the same time.
Nakano Mai was feeling rather depressed because she had been acting so weakly toward the boy next door, who was not even a graduate of high school. While she sensed that today was becoming more difficult for her to get through, she did not find the feeling repulsive like she had in the past.
Instead, she felt her morale slip deeper and deeper into a pit with no possibility of recovery.
'I hope he will not feel disgusted about it.' For the first time, Nakano was beginning to doubt her marriage to her husband as a result of that strange encounter and twist of fate, and she found herself drawn to the innocent charm of the boy next door.
Kazuma, who was lying in bed thinking about everything and experiencing a mixture of fear and excitement, however, realized that this was turning out to be a helpless night for him.
Chirp!
Chirp! Chirp!!
The following morning, Kazuma eventually got out of bed and considered purchasing a newspaper to read more thoroughly about the previous evening's incident.
Given that, he will be able to describe the situation this society was in much more clearly and how he can recognize and handle situations like that, assuming he has female contact.
After spending the entire night reflecting, Kazuma mentioned a few things that he was unable to think clearly about yesterday because of his fear, including the fact that he also possesses the ultimate cheat.
Furthermore, the scenario stamp was a scam in and of itself, so if he could acquire it and employ it effectively, he would be able to track down the beast and perhaps even kill him.
"Kazuma!" He discovered Nakano-san returning as he was leaving his apartment. Despite appearing rather pale from lack of sleep, she still smiled and greeted him.
"Nakano-san, you looked really sleep-deprived." When she heard his words, she felt strange and grinned at him as he examined the newspaper she was carrying.
She asked him if he wanted to read it, and when he nodded and said he was going to buy one himself, she asked him if he wanted to read it.
"You can come and read it if you want." Although she was in that kind of situation that night, Nakano Mai's true nature did not change much, which was a relief to Kazuma, who had been a little concerned about her the night before.
He was not sure why, but it seemed that situations like this were not difficult to come by in this world.
After all, his father had also abandoned his mother and sister for the same reason, and Kazuma realized that he had actually grown to detest such behavior because, as a man, he believed that men should have the courage to care for all the girls around them if necessary.
Not to imply that polygamy is a permitted practice in this world, but there did not seem to be any issues with it.
"Thank you." With a smile, he accepted the invitation and entered the apartment from last night. As he thought back on what had happened, his heart began to beat a little faster because he was anticipating it.
After picking up the newspaper, he began to read the news stories from the Tokyo section and learned about the incident, which had occurred inside the underground parkway and was also one of the cases that had once occurred at the location.
'Criminal and mass murderer! That is what the newspaper claims, but based on the appearance, there are police officers nearby, and those two men in the back do not appear to be police.'
A photograph was included in the article, and Kazuma was able to instantly distinguish between a police officer and two other people who were cooperating with the police with just one glance.
'There can only be three possible outcomes. No one; there is a group in this society that deals with situations like this, and those two people are the ones who work for that group, which is why they were permitted to be in the criminal justice system.'
'The second possibility is that these animals or creatures are very sly and have been behaving silently for a very long time; as a result, there is no set organization to deal with them, but there is a special task force working on cases like this, which might include those two.'
'Third possibility': 'I still doubt it. We are already surrounded by those creatures, and no human had any idea of this danger, which is the greatest threat and worst-case scenario out there.'
Nakano laughed as she observed Kazuma reading the murder case document and responded because of his serious expression.
"Don't worry! In this fast-paced society, cases like this are extremely uncommon and difficult to find, but the manner in which they kill is truly horrifying, is not it?"
In response to Nakano's comments, Kazuma nodded in agreement but otherwise kept quiet as he turned the page without saying anything.
He then looked around more until he came across a page about clothing and fashion sense. He chose one of them and pulled out a small magazine that had been given away with the newspaper.
When he opened it, he saw both male and female models dressed in dazzling fashion.
'This world clothing sense is really weird and unique, although the way clothing are created, they do look really good!'
As time passed and Kazuma returned to his work because he had to finish it, Nakano-san joined him as he examined the various and distinctively designed clothing.
Putting on the clothes that had been purchased for him, he first took a shower, freshened up with some brushing, and ate breakfast, which consisted of just some toasted bread and scrambled eggs, which are incredibly simple to cook and prepare in the morning.
And the moment he was done washing all the dishes, he finally put on the new clothes and recalled how his senior was telling him to comb the hair properly and to say uptight.
'What the pain in ass job, but I need money, plus this slouch back of mine is really weird, so I might as well use this time as a training to train my physique.'
Looking in the mirror, he realized that his physical appearance was not all that bad; rather, his previous host's careless attitude had made him appear unremarkable and prevented him from realizing the full potential of his body.
'This job might turn out to be good for me! As I can learn about fashion sense from working with professionals around me, it can also help me improve my image, which can help me make other targets fall in love with me.'
He muttered this and left, full of enthusiasm because he knew the job he was describing might end up being a nightmare for him in the future.
As he left the apartment, he came into contact with Nakano-san, who was turning out the garbage when she noticed him and turned to look at him with a silent nod in her mind about Kazuma's appearance, who was looking really good in the attire that had been given to him.
When Kazuma turned around, Nakano-san had already entered her apartment. He gave her a nod and walked down, feeling that it was still a little awkward for him.
(Skip)
"Ohh! Kazuma-kun, here!" Given that it was only 7 am and most kids Kazuma age tend to sleep in at times like these, Manager Aoki called over to him as soon as he returned to the agency to ask if he was okay with this morning work.
"Yeah! It is alright, given that I had been training recently every morning, so it was getting habitual, and running to the agency is a good exercise I could ask for." Aoki laughed as he patted Kazuma on the shoulder after hearing him respond, noting how well-trained his muscles were and how well-developed he appeared to be.
"That is good, then let's go; we will meet those girls, plus don't go and ask for autographs from them, given they will look down on you later on."
Aoki asked Kazuma in a low voice, and the latter looked at him in shock. He reasoned that if Kazuma were one of the girls' fans, it might get a little awkward for them to work.
"Do not worry, I am not into that sort of stuff to begin with, and I do not even care about idol! I will not ask for an autograph at all." Aoki was both relieved and shocked, wondering why Kazuma had taken on this part-time position in the first place.
