Making Grandma Martha and Qira Happy

After leaving the Garendra Group head office, Sunny called Qira to tell him where they were.

Sunny traveled almost an hour because his speed on the motorbike was relatively slow. His mind was unfocused because it was only focused on the meeting and heated conversation he had with Shine.

'I swear on the name of the deceased Daddy Lion. I'll bring the person who made us apart like this, bro!'

This anger couldn't just disappear considering Shine's stupid attitude that still hates him.

Sunny arrived at the hospital parking lot. He jogged to the ICU where his grandmother was being treated. In front of the Emergency Room door, Qira was sitting with her head lowered. Sunny approached and sat down slowly, and Qira who realized it turned to the person beside her.

"Bro?"

Instantly the pool of tears that had receded earlier spilled over. Qira immediately hugged Sunny and roared.

"Why is it always like this, bro? Why are we always insulted and this time it's so bad? Grandma was rushed here," Qira said a sentence that she couldn't complain about to anyone other than Sunny.

This sweet girl who had just finished high school was so sad. Since birth, she only had Grandma Martha as her parent. She is lucky to have Sunny as their protector and security maker.

In her brother's arms, Qira told Sunny everything that had happened from the start until Mr. Baron's housemaids helped her take Grandma Martha to the hospital.

From Qira's story, Sunny knew that the incident that broke Mrs. Sally's vase was not Qira's intention because Mrs. Sally's dog hit her body and caused her to fall and push the vase.

Of course, Sunny was very angry. His choice not to use his wealth and help Grandma Martha and Qira during these six months turned out to be wrong. Even though having to work hard as a construction project worker to earn money is not a big problem for Sunny, for Grandma Martha who is old, and Qira who still has to face the future, Sunny's decision is indeed wrong.

'I should have made you happy from the start as a way of thanking you for helping me in my life. After I lived with you, I should have immediately taken you away from the humiliation of those arrogant rich people. This is my fault,'

Sunny took a deep breath realizing his mistake. Choosing to be an inconspicuous poor person turned out to not be the right choice. In addition, during the six months of his disguise, Sunny had not yet found the person who harmed and framed him previously.

'Yeah, how could they come out if I don't show myself? I have to change everything. There's no waiting to be attacked because I'll be the one to bait them by showing the real me!' Sunny muttered firmly.

"Excuse me... Are you the family of a patient named Mrs. Martha?" a nurse came to Sunny and Qira and they both nodded, "Ah, can one of you come with me? There is something the doctor wants to convey about the patient's condition." she continued explaining.

"Okay, Sister. I'll come along," Sunny answered the nurse, and when the nurse left, Sunny turned to Qira, "You stay here with grandma, I'll see the doctor."

Sunny handed Qira the paper bag he was carrying, "This is for you. Happy birthday, Qira. Open it, hope you like it."

Even though she was confused, Qira still followed Sunny's instructions. Her eyes widened, her lips rounded and she exclaimed in utter astonishment, "Wow, bro... Is this true for me? This is a very beautiful dress. Can I accept clothes as beautiful as this?" Qira's happy expression couldn't be hidden, she even shed tears of joy.

"Those clothes are not very nice for a beautiful and cheerful girl like you to wear. I'll buy something better than this later."

Qira shook her head repeatedly before hugging Sunny again while crying happily, "This is the most beautiful gift I have ever received, bro. I didn't dare think there would be a more beautiful gift than this. This is great, I like it!"

Sunny smiled while stroking Qira's hair, "It's not impossible. Starting today I promise to make you and grandma happy. OK, I'll see a doctor first." Sunny let go of Qira's embrace and was about to walk, but once again Qira stopped him from speaking.

"Bro, thank you. Even though we are very poor, after you came between me and grandma, our life was happier. God loves me and grandma because you were passed down to us by Him," the words were so sincere that Sunny smiled.

Sunny walked following the nurse's steps who directed him to the doctor's office who was waiting for him.

"Good evening, Doctor. I'm Sunny, Grandma Martha's grandson. How is my grandmother, Doctor?" Sunny immediately asked as he sat in front of the male doctor who treated his grandmother.

Sunny could see the doctor's appraising gaze as he looked at him, "Doctor, can you hear me?" Sunny's question interrupted the doctor's thoughts.

"Ah, okay, Mr. Sunny. I will explain Mrs. Martha's current situation. The impact received on the patient's head was severe enough to cause trauma to the blood vessels which caused nerve damage. At this advanced age, a collision like that has a big impact on the patient."

"Can you just tell me what happened to my grandmother, Doctor?" Sunny, who already understood what was explained to him, felt that the doctor's words were too complicated and made him impatient.

"Okay. The easy explanation is that after undergoing a series of tests, the patient was diagnosed with a hematoma, and..."

Sunny raised his hand to stop the doctor from talking.

"Don't tell me that my grandmother had an epidural hematoma? Was the impact that bad that grandma could experience this?" Sunny's body tensed imagining what his grandmother was suffering like right now.

However, Sunny's question made the doctor in front of him stunned. In his mind, the question arose as to how Sunny could know such a diagnosis.

"Does this hospital provide craniotomy surgery procedures?"

Again, the doctor who treated Grandma Martha was stunned. Who was the shabby-looking young man in front of him who understood medical problems and treatment procedures?

Not answering Sunny's question, the doctor instead asked her in surprise, "How did you know about this diagnosis? Are you a doctor too?" There was a tone of disbelief from the doctor when he asked while observing Sunny's appearance.

"You don't need to know who I am, Doctor. Please just answer my question, does this hospital support surgery for my grandmother? Otherwise, I will take action for my grandmother myself!" Sunny said while holding back his anger. He did not think that his sixty-year-old grandmother could suffer like this.

The doctor still couldn't answer because he was confused, "Why haven't you answered yet? Just say that this hospital does not provide complete facilities to carry out this procedure? I will transfer my grandmother to a better hospital!" said Sunny while rubbing his tired face facing today's bad luck.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Sunny, but, indeed, this hospital is still inadequate to carry out the surgical procedures you mentioned earlier. I will give a referral letter for the patient to be transferred to a bigger hospital." replied the doctor, "I will move Mrs. Martha to the hospital..."

"Garendra Healthy Center. Take my grandmother there tonight, Doctor. Don't make my grandmother wait any longer," Sunny immediately interrupted.

"Garendra Health Center? Are you not mistaken, sir? That's a big hospital that doesn't accept medical payments using poor cards. Just now, your sister registered a patient using a poverty welfare card from the government."

"How can you mention the name of such a big hospital to me? You won't be able to bear the cost of treatment there. I will find a hospital that accepts poverty cards as coverage for treatment."

Although he did not want to lower the status of Sunny and his family, the doctor's humane thoughts immediately took the initiative to help Sunny with the status of Sunny and Grandma Martha who people do not have.
