The main character grows as the story develops. Although he's very naive from the beginning, he matures a lot as the story progresses.

Just as one of the soldiers before room 209 was about to stop Xiaoyun, the other soldier immediately saluted Xiaoyun and pulled the other soldier back.

The soldier looked puzzled as he couldn't understand why his partner was letting Xiaoyun right into the room.

But the soldier on the right didn't say anything until Xiaoyun went inside the room as Kate and Tianci closed the door.

"You idiot. Do you have any idea who you were talking to?"
