The main character grows as the story develops. Although he's very naive from the beginning, he matures a lot as the story progresses.

"Definitely just a placebo effect... Ahem, Wuli Shuli, when are you both going to labor?"

Nami curiously asked as she began feeding Xuanhua, who barely looked awake compared to the other three babies.
