A dangerous proposal

The aftermath of the argument with Ava left Lilith in a state of turmoil. She needed a respite from the conflicting emotions that swirled within her. With a heavy sigh, she decided to retreat to her bedroom, hoping that the solace of solitude would provide a sanctuary from the storm that raged both within and without.

As Lilith settled into her room, the knock at her door was unexpected, and she hesitated, wondering who might be seeking her company now. She stood up, her movements cautious, and asked the identity of the visitor."Who is it?" She called out, her voice shaky and uncertain.

" It's me, Lila. Your sister. Can I come in?" She replied, her voice gentle and soothing.Lilith felt a surge of relief as she recognized her sister's voice behind the door. She quickly opened it and welcomed Lila inside, hoping to find some comfort and solace in her presence. Lila smiled warmly at her, her eyes full of sympathy and concern. She hugged Lilith tightly, feeling her sister's tension and distress.

"Lila," Lilith said gratefully, her voice trembling slightly. "I heard what happened with Ava," Lila said gently, her voice soothing and supportive. Lilith nodded, her face clouded by the memory of the argument. "It was a disaster, Lila. I don't know what to do anymore." Lilith said helplessly, her voice reflecting her frustration and confusion.

Lila stroked Lilith's hair, trying to calm her down. She looked into her sister's eyes, seeing the pain and fear that lurked within them. She felt a surge of anger and hatred towards Ava, the woman who had caused so much trouble and misery for her sister. She decided to share her plan with Lilith, hoping to convince her to join her in a daring and dangerous scheme.

"You're not alone in this, Lilith. We'll find a way through," Lila said reassuringly, her voice confident and optimistic. Lilith felt a glimmer of hope, wondering what Lila had in mind. "What am I going to do, Lila?" Lilith asked anxiously, her voice seeking guidance and direction. Lila smiled mischievously, her eyes sparkling with a hidden intention. "You should try to make it work with Ava, at least on the surface," she said practically, her voice sounding reasonable and sensible.

"But why?" Lilith asked skeptically, her voice expressing doubt and disbelief. Lila leaned closer to Lilith, whispering in her ear. Her voice was low and sinister, revealing a dark and twisted plan. "Because, my dear sister, sometimes the best way to eliminate an obstacle is to let them believe you're on their side," she said cunningly, her voice implying a deadly and devious plot.

Lilith gasped, feeling a shock of horror and disbelief. She looked at Lila's face, searching for any sign of jest or joke. But she saw none, only a serious and determined expression. Lila explained her plan in detail, weaving a web of intrigue and deception. She mentioned the wedding night as an opportunity for vengeance, leaving Lilith stunned and speechless.

"Lila, are you serious? You want me to kill Ava on our wedding night?" Lilith asked incredulously, her voice reflecting shock and disbelief. Lila nodded firmly, her voice resolute and adamant. "Of course I'm serious, Lilith. It's the only way to end this madness. Ava is a threat to our family, our kingdom, our freedom. She doesn't deserve to live, let alone marry you." Lila said vehemently, her voice expressing conviction and determination.

"But how can I do it, Lila? How can I pretend to love her, to share a bed with her, to take her life with my own hands?" Lilith asked fearfully, her voice revealing fear and guilt. Lila hugged Lilith again, trying to comfort and persuade her. She looked into Lilith's eyes, seeing the hesitation and doubt that clouded them. She felt a surge of affection and devotion towards Lilith, the sister she loved more than anything in the world. She decided to use all her charm and manipulation to sway Lilith to her side.

"You can do it, Lilith. You're strong, you're brave, you're smart. You have me by your side."

Lilith's confusion deepened, her sister's words creating a labyrinth of thoughts within her mind. Lila's explanation unfolded like a web of intrigue, a plot that entwined Lilith's heart and mind. The mention of the wedding night as an opportunity for vengeance left Lilith stunned, her gaze shifting from Lila's face to the depths of her own conflicted thoughts.

Lila's departure left Lilith alone with the echoes of their conversation. A sense of unease lingered in the air, a reminder that darkness and secrets lay beneath the surface of her world. Determination welled within her, a desire to unravel the truth and confront the tangled webs that ensnared her.

With a resolve that bordered on desperation, Lilith decided to change into simpler attire, shedding the trappings of her princess-like appearance. The gardens held an allure she couldn't resist, a place where her wolves provided both companionship and solace. She stepped into the open air, the breeze carrying a sense of freedom that she longed for.

Amidst the sea of thoughts, Lilith's attention was captured by one of her wolves. Something caught her eye—a letter, delicately attached to her wolf's collar. Confusion and curiosity mingled within her as she carefully retrieved the letter. The handwriting that greeted her was as enchanting as the words themselves, capturing her attention from the very first glance.

"Dear Princess," the letter began, using the formal title . "I don't appreciate the fact that you left your wolf in the city because I had a hard time getting him back to your castle." Lilith laughed as she read this part, remembering how she had forgot her wolf because of Red. She continued reading, curious to know what happened.

"Your wolf couldn't help wanting to chase everything he found, whether it was a bird, a ball, and especially monsters. And he has the same habit as you, which is jumping on people, so since I've brought back your wolf, or rather that thing that wouldn't stop following me, I'm claiming compensation."

Lilith chuckled as she read this part, picturing the scene of her wolf running wild in the city, causing trouble and chaos wherever he went. She knew that Red was exaggerating a bit, but she also knew that her wolf was a handful. She wondered what kind of compensation Red wanted from her, and hoped it wasn't too much. She finished reading the letter, amused by Red's signature.

"Sign Red." The letter ended abruptly, without any formalities or courtesies. Lilith noticed that the letter had a hole in the shape of a bite mark, as if her wolf had tried to eat it. She shook her head, amused by the irony. She put the letter down and couldn't help laughing when she saw the evidence of her wolf's mischief.
