Chapter 1

Hey, how is the little one doing?" Jasmine asked me.

"He is doing well getting big so quickly." I replied. He phone rang and she held up her finger and took the call.

"Hey can you close tonight I have to go Jase got sick at school."

"Yes of course." I say as she grabs her stuff and runs out the door. We had about an hour before closing. I started wiping the counters off and cleaning the tables until they were sparkling. Next was to sweep and mop. As I was sweeping I heard the door slam open. I looked over to a bunch of guys wearing leather jackets they looked to be no older than mid-20s they all had many tattoos. One caught my eye more than the other, he had piercing grey eyes golden skin black silky hair.

"Um we're closing soon." I said in a timid voice. They all looked at me all but the grey-eyed man was ready to leave.

"I don't care. Serve us." He said.

"Look mister I have a baby at home I need to get to I don't have time to do this come back in the morning." I say to him, the men looked shocked grey eyes were amused.. but not very happy.

"I don't care who you have at home. Serve. Us." He replied with a intimidating glare.

"Fine take a seat." I say giving up. I take their orders and give them the food. I start to clean up once again. They left and I go to clean up their table. I see $300 on the table I run out to give it back but nowhere to be seen. I place it in my pocket and will give it to them next time I see them. I turn the lights off and shut and lock the door. My sweet boy, here I come! I guess I should explain.. yea a baby at 20yrs old. The guy I was with forced me into having sex but I knew once I found out I was pregnant I was keeping him. He was my light at the end of the tunnel.

I open my apartment door take my shoes off my jacket and place my bag down. I walk in to see my little boy doing tummy time on his play mat he hates it I must add.

"Hey! Thanks for watching him with such short notice." I say to the babysitter.

"No problem at all honey! I will see you guys tomorrow." She says walking out the door.

I pick up Asher and hug him before getting him ready for bed. Truly living the best life...
