I rushed out of the room only to find Rylan and Zed waiting for me with their arms crossed—deja vu. We were just in this situation. Didn’t they have other shit to do than stand outside of Beth’s room and wait for me? 


God, I was pissed off after my encounter with Beth! They studied my angry expression and understood what had happened immediately. After all these years, my brothers knew me better than anyone. It was nice not even to have to say anything. We just communicated most of the time silently. 


“You found out something weird about Beth, didn’t you?” Zed asked me. 


He gestured for me to move from our assistant's door so she couldn't hear us. We ended up sitting around the dining room table, and Zed continued.
