COMBAT TRAINING

Unfortunately, his antics of wanting to scare Alexander were to no avail. Instead, the young man glared back at him.

"I was standing here when you three came, so either wait your turn or go somewhere else. As you can see, there are other salespeople with their eyes on you. I'm not a mind reader, but clearly they want you to go meet them", Alexander said.

Jerry placed his hand on Alexander's shoulder, trying to assert himself. The only thing he could try and intimidate Alexander with was his muscles, as their heights were almost the same. However, because of the system, that could change with time.

Jerry said "Listen here, brat. The boss doesn't wait, especially for someone like you, so this is the second and last warning you're ever going to get from me. Go home now, or I'll make you regret ever standing in the boss's way."

Alexander looked at Jerry's hand on his shoulder, then he looked at Jerry.

"Let me tell you this instead. Get your hand off me if you know what's good for you or else I'll make you regret ever stepping inside this store. I'm not some kid you can make do whatever the hell it is you want. Not anymore." Alexander warned.

Angry at the young man's audacity to talk back, Jerry yelled "That's it punk! Don't say I didn't warn you!"

Jerry used the hand on Alexander's shoulder to hold him down, trying to prevent him from moving so that he could attack with his other hand.

If it was Alexander of the past, then that would have worked. Unfortunately, Alexander was different now and in more ways than how bold he had become.

With the system, Alexander had not just only possessed the strength of two very muscular security men from the hospital, and then increased said strength with stat points, but he had also possessed their memories.

Those two men, Josh and Bob, had served many years in the military, and as such had received a great amount of combat training. Combat training which had now been passed to Alexander.

Jerry clenched his fist, positioned his hand, and swung a punch at Alexander, thinking that there was no way he'd miss, but he was wrong. He was dealing with the wrong person.

Alexander, using the combat memories he possessed from Josh and Bob, swiftly punched Jerry's hand off his shoulder, then he moved his head, dodging the punch that was aimed at his jaw.

After that, Jerry's balance became a little shaky and Alexander used that opportunity to kick the back of the man's knee, which caused him to fall.

Alexander stepped back a bit, giving himself space from Jerry, who was now on one knee.

Because Alexander had moved out of the way, the gentleman who Jerry and Jeff were working for stepped forward and got closer to Stacy as he wanted.

"Hey, Jerry. Are you good?" Jeff asked as he stepped closer and stood beside his partner.

Frowning at Alexander, Jerry tried to stand up while, at the same time, saying to Jeff, "Yeah. The brat just surprised me is all."

However, he found it a bit challenging.

Jerry looked at his knee then winced from the pain he felt, thinking 'That kick was a lot stronger than I thought. That's strange because it didn't look like he applied so much force behind it. Just how strong is this kid?'

"Me too. I didn't know he could move like that. Seems like he has some combat training", Jeff said, and Jerry finally stood up.

"Yeah. Seems like he does, but he's no match for me. That's for sure. He just caught me off guard with that move from before, but it's not going to happen again", Jerry said, pounding his fist into his palm.

Jerry looked at his boss and said "Hey boss, is it alright if I beat the brat up? I was only going to hit him once and send him home crying to his mama before, but now I'm angry, and I'm not going to relax until I see blood."

The gentleman waved dismissively "Do whatever you want. As long as you don't kill him, I don't see a problem. Besides, that punk doesn't look like he knows any important people, so who cares if anything happens to him?"

Just then, Stacy, who wanted to get on the good side of the gentleman, who she thought was Alexander Curry, chimed in.

She said, "That kid tried to harass me earlier. He was making sexual innuendos the moment he opened his mouth to talk to me and I told him to stop, but he refused. He only stopped because you guys came, so make sure to teach him a really good lesson. You're allowed to use force to remove someone who's being a nuisance to the store, so as long as you don't break anything, you're fine."

The gentleman smirked and Stacy smiled.

Jerry looked at Alexander and said "You heard that brat? Sucks to be you because I'm not going to go easy. You brought this on yourself."

Alexander, who was looking at Stacy with disgust after her false accusation, looked at Jerry and then sighed.

"I guess I hurt your ego because I didn't let you hit me earlier. Well, sorry to tell you this, but I'm done taking shit from people. Don't worry, though. I'll make sure to end this very quickly" he said, then went into a fighting posture.

Jerry chuckled.

"You'll make sure to end this quickly, huh? This punk!" Jerry smacked his tongue.

"We'll just have to see about that, won't we?" Jerry said, then rushed at Alexander.

Alexander, who knew he had to control his enhanced strength because one wrong move from him could mistakenly kill Jerry, huffed and prepared to retaliate.

Jerry threw multiple punches, grunting with each strike, and Alexander, who increasing his strength had also resulted in an increase of his senses and speed by a slight margin, was able to easily evade all of them.

He evaded for some seconds, pulling Jerry in and making the man look like a fool for not being able to hit him until it finally came time to strike.

With the memories he took from Doctor Richard and the nurses, Alexander knew everything there was to know about the human body.

He knew the right spot to attack and after evading Jerry's last attack, Alexander struck back at the man's jaw, immediately knocking him out cold.
