The group chat was lively, but the person in question, Quan Tianqi, was busy flirting with his wife.
"Thanks for today," Xi An'an unbuckled her seatbelt, raised her eyes to look at the person beside her, her red lips lifting into a bright smile.
Quan Tianqi's thin lips curved slightly, "Thank me for what?"
"For the matter with my great-grandfather."
"Don't worry, I'll remember this favor," Quan Tianqi chuckled.
Xi An'an laughed along, and for once, she made a joke, "Then how about using another meal to settle it?"
Quan Tianqi's laughter was hearty, "Wishful thinking, that would be letting you off too cheaply."
The man's dazzling smile almost bewitched her heart, and to keep from getting lost in his charm, Xi An'an hurriedly took her leave.
"Then I'll head back first."
"Wait."
The man's warm hand clasped her wrist, and Xi An'an, like a startled rabbit, reflexively tried to pull her hand back.
