Quan Tianqi's dark eyes opened wide, clear and bright without a trace of grogginess from just waking up.
He looked at the woman who had regained consciousness and a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes.
"An'an, how are you feeling? Is there any discomfort?"
Xi An'an clearly saw the urgency in the man's eyes and with effort, her cracked lips formed a slight curve.
"No."
Her usually crisp voice was now extremely hoarse.
Struggling to sit up, Quan Tianqi promptly pressed her down, "Don't move recklessly."
Xi An'an lay back down, noticing the barely concealed anxiety between the man's brows. "I'm fine, don't worry about me."
"Be good and lie down to rest," Quan Tianqi said, brooking no argument.
Xi An'an's gaze softened, with a hint of a smile in its depths.
"It seems that from now on, I should keep you tied to my belt to prevent you from getting into danger," Quan Tianqi said as his hand gently pinched her cheek, his magnetic voice carrying a bit of annoyance.
