Chapter 3: Welcome
Kiara's POV
My goodness, what a twisted fate! The visitors sat on the couch and waited for them to speak again. The empress looks dignified and seems to be pure-hearted.
I wonder what kind of relationship she had with Kiara. After thirty minutes, I feed them all, and they start snoring softly beside me.
These babies are identical, but I noticed that their eyes were different. The other one had crimson eyes, blue eyes, gray eyes, and green eyes. Is that even possible?
Don't tell me they have different dads! Oh no! Did Kiara cheat on her husband, and that's why she's being ignored now? Come on! Don't tell me I'm a villainess!
"Congratulations, milady. Your children were born holding the four elements: blue eyes mean the control of water; crimson eyes are fire; green eyes are earth; and lastly, the gray eyes hold the power of the wind," the maid explains. What is she talking about?
The doctor, the empress, and my so-called dad stood up and sat on the chairs that the maid had prepared beside my bed. The maids step back and close the door. My father looks at me and sighs.
"Kiara, did you know that except for your husband, in this world, you're the only one who can control fire and water? An opposite element, and yet you're holding both. Your husband can control wind and fire," he says. I raise my hand and notice my ring.
"Please, answer my questions from a while ago. I am not interested in the powers that we have. I need to know what kind of life I have. I can't just walk there while being clueless. What if I have enemies? How can I protect myself? I ask. Kiara's dad looks at the doctor. The empress sighs and looks at me with gentle eyes.
"What kind of questions do you ask them, Lady Kiara?" she asks.
"Why didn't my husband come? He should be by my side, right?"
"My idiot brother-in-law is in love with your stepsister. He stayed by her side after your stepsister begged him because she was acting guilty for what she did to you, which I knew she wasn't."
"I already talked to him and tried to convince him to come over, but... I scolded Kate, and she was crying after I told her that she's forbidden to go near you while you're recuperating. I think the duke is..."
I scoff, and I tried not to cry. What kind of feeling is this? I shouldn't feel betrayed and in pain! I haven't met him or even heard their story!
Is it because Kiara's heart still remembers her sadness? Damn! I am transmigrated in this weird world, and yet I'm still suffering. What a joke.

I bite my lower lip and look at the babies. I'm glad they're still sleeping. That was close. They all sigh and start telling me the truth one by one.

On planet Earth, we only have eight continents. But what pains me the most is the fact that I have an evil stepmother and sister.
I don't know if I read too much manga, which is why my near-death experience is all about that. This is frustrating! Can't I just die and end my suffering? My goodness!
"My daughter, I'm sorry if your second mom is not even close to your mom's behavior. I also blame myself for marrying the wrong girl, but I am trying to keep you away from all trouble. I hope one day I can prove that to you. Kiara's dad says
I lean on the headboard. I closed my eyes and tried to calm my head after all the information that I had acquired based on their stories. I lay down.
"Whatever his reason is, he will pay for ignoring me when I needed him the most," I whispered, closing my eyes.
I feel tired, and all I want is to recover and face my problem later on. They said she's in the imperial hospital, where royal and noble families can enter.

Two weeks have passed, and I am totally okay. The elixir they ordered from Witch Empire arrived, and that helped me fully recover. My body is completely healed, and even the cut in my vagina has disappeared.
My relatives came over and visited me, but those three people never arrived to check on me. Tomorrow, I am going home along with the quadruplets. I have to be ready and defend myself.
I'm in a world where powers exist. I will not allow her to bully me, and I will alter everything! "I will change my fate. Nobody can ever bully me again! I roared as my palm turned into a fist.
The day of my comeback arrived. It took us four hours before we arrived at the duke's palace. It was a huge palace, similar to what I saw in Manhwas.
My babies were in the other carriage. I wait for them to arrive before I walk off my carriage. The servants of this palace seem to know of my arrival.
My father has said that he'll wait for me here a day before my discharge. I wonder what kind of faces my husband and stepsister have. Maybe my stepmom is here as well. It's time to change my life completely.

The carriage arrived. And a servant opened my door after I nodded. They also opened the other carriage, and they took out the stroller where the quadruplets are.
"Oh, you finally arrived, huh? Welcome home, my dear big sister," I heard a female voice sarcastically say. I raise my head and look in that direction.
