Justice and fear (part 1)

Enrico's POV

I look at her and she seems to be reading about creating a ruckus. Kiara changed completely after giving birth. Maybe it's her maternal instinct that drives her to be strong and brave—she wants to keep our children alive.

She learns how to fight against me and Kate. They left after half an hour. I went to where she sat to calm her down. I placed my hand on her and shook my head.

I created different air birds that will follow those scumbags. Let the wind do the work for me. I stood up after drinking all the wine in the glass.

"Let's go. We still have things to do," I remarked. My wife stood up and yet that ominous aura in his eyes will give you chills.

We went back to our room. "If you will lose your temper too easily, you'll be in danger, Kiara. Your life is precious and you should value that," I remark. She gives him cold glances and scoffs after that.

"Of course, I should stay alive or else you and Kate will ruin the quadruplet's lives. I will never let that happen," she asserted. I can feel how much heavy her words are.

I grab my sword and put it beside me. I cross my legs and look at her. "Then you better stay alive if you don't want that to happen. Learn to control and use that wrath at the right time. Don't act recklessly," I utter.

If that's the only way to warn my duchess, then I'll agree to whatever she was thinking. I understand why she's like that. If I told her that Kate must have used dark magic, I know she wouldn't believe me. Let her discover the truth on her own. She was seated on the other end of the couch.

"So? What is your plan, your majesty?" she murmurs.

I lean my face on my palm and heave a long sigh. "I already sent my minions to keep an eye on them. We will rescue whoever they're planning to abduct and use against the village leader. I also sent some of them to whisper the truth to me. You know how the wind murmurs everything," I replied.

She laughs and leans back on the couch. I move my pupil to the side and look at her reactions. She's smirking devilishly. I saw her hickey. I end up losing control and cum as much as I hadn't anticipated. I knew it was because I never got the chance to do it again after that time.

She turns around her body and splashes my face with the water from the flower vase. "Stop looking at me with such a lewd expression. It pisses me off," she remarks irritably.

I didn't argue and just closed my eyes and took a nap until my minion whispered some bad news in my ears. "Understood, my duchess," I murmured.

I crossed my arms and tried to keep my space to myself. I already pushed my luck today. After I realize what is wrong with me and how I suddenly fell in love with Kate, I act recklessly.

After a few minutes, my head was buzzing because of the wind. I opened my eyes and stood up. I grabbed my sword and walked away. "Wait a minute!"

I jump off the balcony and float in the air. Kiara was about to follow me but I used the wind to shut the door. I will do this myself.

"Stay there and wait for me. Your mission is to make negotiations, Kiara. I will be back before you know it," I remark. I went away and didn't listen to whatever she will say. As the duke and a father, my life is nothing compared to that of my family and this empire's citizens.

I arrived in this grassland and they seemed to know that someone would come to chase them. "Isn't that a surprise? The grand duke, the younger prince, was here to save you, sweetie," one of them says.

He was the leader and he even licked the girl's cheek. She was crying out of fear and disgust. "We already warned all of the citizens and other kingdoms not to touch the innocent lives of the citizens but, I guess, bastards will always be foolish cowards," I insulted.

They raise their hands and show me what kind of powers they have. They are seven people. Two can use fire, earth, and water. There's a single wind user, which is the boss. I pulled off the sheath on my sword in a swift move. I tried to cut off their boss's head.

I grab the woman's waist and jump backward. I raised my swords and split the two boulders into cubes. "This is going to be fun!" one of them roars, then laughs. I raised my hand and covered the girls with wind blades. This will serve as her barrier.

I started moving faster with the help of the wind. My sword slashes this man's fireballs, and like a ninja, I appear behind him and his head rolls down the ground first. I shake my sword to take off his blood.

"Who wants to be next?" I remark.

The ground started shaking but I decided to use the power of the wind. The two earth users start having trouble breathing. I stomped on the ground and the dust that covered them like a ball had sucked all their blood. They became dust as well.

"We will kill you, bastard!" A man roars.

I was now inside the water ball. I can't breathe and I have no choice but to control the circulation of air in my body. I tried to move my hand and cut my palm. The water starts to be tainted by my blood.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Kiara roars.

She went straight inside the water ball and wrapped her hands around me. She kissed me and I can feel the oxygen she's giving me. After that resuscitation, the water ball broke, and the two water users were screaming in pain.

I experiment with my blood using witches' spells and alchemy. "Why did you leave your room? Didn't I tell you to stand back?!" I roared at Kiara.

A strong slap landed on my cheeks. She glared at me and yet my wife's eyes were misty because of tears. "Didn't I tell you? You have no right to decide for me, your majesty. I will be the one to decide what I should do," she remarked.

A fire stops their boss from trying to capture the girl again. "I'm still having an argument here. All of you had no right to interrupt us!" she roars.

"Then you better die first!" the boss dashes towards us.
