LISA'S FACTS

They were visible signs in the sky of a possible downpour when we arrived home. I went straight to the bathroom immediately I got to my room. My desire for a cold shower surpassed the threatening cold weather. When I was done, I picked out warm clothes from my wardrobe, a one-piece hooded jumpsuit with kitten prints and cute kitten ears. I slipped into the bed intending to sleep for just thirty minutes since I was physically and emotionally exhausted.

Just when I had drifted off to sleep, the shrill ringing of my phone pierced into my subconsciousness and I cursed at myself for not muting it.

I groggily stretched out my hands and picked it up. "Hello," I said.

"Am I speaking with S.B?" The caller asked.

I quickly sprang up from the bed, all drowsiness leaving me at once. Why the hell was Mr rude calling?

"Hello," he said again.
