BELLA REEK I

The days swiftly passed with the decoration of the hallway and auditorium, leading up to Friday. A banner had been positioned at the entrance to welcome Bella back to her alma mater. The hallway was adorned with her achievements, photos, and inspiring quotes, creating a festive ambiance. Meanwhile, the auditorium brimmed with students eagerly anticipating her arrival.

Outside the hallway, I stood in awkwardness alongside the teachers and Rex, waiting for Bella's arrival. The media was also present for coverage.

Despite my reluctance, Rex had forcefully dragged me here to stand beside him, holding a bouquet of flowers, to await Bella. Ms. Sophie had given me a warm smile, easing the awkwardness of the situation.

Bella arrived with her entourage, looking more like a teenage celebrity actress than an athletic swimmer; she looked stunning. Rounds of greetings ensued, and finally, Rex seized the opportunity to present her with the bouquet.
