Yo, been a bit, huh? Has anyone seen what they did with Invincible S3? Can't wait for Conquest...

It was the first week of July, and Class 1-A sat tensely at their desks. Shota Aizawa moved methodically through the room, distributing exam sheets with his usual half-lidded gaze of exhaustion.

As each student received their paper, a collective wave of nervous energy spread through the class.

"Alright, I see the tension on your faces," Aizawa muttered as he finally collapsed into his chair, arms crossed, expression unreadable.

A moment of terrible silence followed.

Then—

"You all passed the theoretical portion of the term test."

For a second, no one moved.

Then, the class erupted.

"YES! HELL YEAH!" Denki Kaminari fist-pumped the air.

"I actually PASSED?!" Mina Ashido gasped dramatically.

"As expected!" Iida adjusted his glasses, radiating pride.

"I knew we could do it!" Izuku Midoriya beamed, looking around the room at his happy classmates.

From his seat, Mineta smugly nodded. "Of course, I passed. This brain is top-tier."

Across the room, Bakugo Katsuki sat with his arms crossed, unimpressed. "Tch. Not like it was that hard."

"Tch, said the guy who lost a point to me," Kurokami Tenshin snickered from his seat, floating lazily in midair like it was a casual thing to do.

"WHAT WAS THAT, DWARF?!" Bakugo immediately bristled, leaning forward aggressively.

"Nothin', nothin'~" Kuro waved him off.

Aizawa sighed deeply, already regretting giving them good news.

"Before you all lose focus—" he continued, voice flat"The physical portion of the exam will take place later. Rest up in the meantime."

A few relieved sighs came from students who had been dreading an immediate test.

"But that's not the only surprise," Aizawa added, causing the class to snap back to attention. "UA has arranged something special for you."

A moment of expectant silence fell over the room.

Then, Aizawa dropped the bombshell.

"You're all going to I-Island."

...

For a moment, there was nothing.

Then—

"WOOOOOOO!!!" Kaminari practically jumped out of his seat.

"I-Island?! THE I-Island?!" Mina shouted, bouncing in excitement.

Even usually composed students like Momo Yaoyorozu and Shoto Todoroki looked intrigued.

Aizawa, unfazed by the noiseunzipped his yellow sleeping bag and crawled inside it, muttering, "Don't ask me for details. I'm going to sleep."

The students continued their celebration anyway.

That is, until—

"Wait."

The voice belonged to Shoto Todoroki, who had been sitting stoically this entire time.

"What exactly is I-Island?"

horrible silence filled the room.

From across the class, Bakugo turned to stare at him like he had just grown a second head.

"Are you mentally challenged, Icyhot?" Bakugo said bluntly. "I thought you were supposed to be rich. How do you not know this?"

Todoroki, unfazedtilted his head. "Is it important?"

Bakugo pinched the bridge of his nose, exhaling sharply. "You're so goddamn lucky that Yaoyorozu is here, 'cause I don't have the patience to explain it."

He turned his head, silently signaling Momo Yaoyorozu to take over.

Momo, who had already begun standing, cleared her throat.

"I-Island is an artificial, mobile island that serves as the world's leading research facility for Hero Support Items." She explained elegantly, hands folded behind her back. "It was built to ensure scientific innovation remains unhindered by international politics. The entire island is essentially the peak of Hero Technology.

"It also moves," she continued, "constantly changing location to avoid being targeted by villains or terrorist groups. Because of this, it's considered the safest place on Earth."

Todoroki processed the information before giving a plain, uncaring answer.

"I see."

A pause.

Then—

"How do we get there?"

Momo blinked. "Well, obviously, UA will arrange our transportation, most likely by plane—"

"Wrong."

The voice belonged to Kuro, who was still floating aimlessly in his seat, looking bored.

"I-Island isn't a museum. Regular students don't get to go. At best, the only ones who qualify are those who performed exceptionally at the Sports Festival."

The entire class froze.

Then came the wave of despair.

"What?! THAT'S NOT FAIR!" Kaminari wailed.

"NOOOOOO!" Mina dramatically collapsed over her desk.

"I can already see my vacation crumbling before my eyes…" Sero muttered, holding his head.

Even Iida, who normally defended UA's decisions, sighed in disappointment.

"That is… an unfortunate revelation."

But before the mood could fully plummet into despair, Iida adjusted his glasses and straightened his posture.

"However!" He raised a finger. "If we can think of this, the UA staff obviously would as well. Meaning, if they are allowing this class-wide trip, then a logical explanation exists."

The room fell silent.

Then—

"Oh, yeah, that makes sense," Mina said, perking up.

"So we just need good grades, huh?" Kaminari relaxed.

And just like that—the good mood in class was restored.

However, this new rejuvenated energy came with one side effect

"Then we should train harder!" Momo declared, standing tall. "I shall restart study sessions immediately! But with greater intensity this time!"

groan of disappointment followed.

"Should've kept my mouth shut," Kaminari muttered.

...

While the class continued chatting excitedlyBakugo sat quietly, arms crossed, deep in thought.

Something about this felt off.

Everything was too sudden.

The Sports Festival was months ago. Why would UA decide now—out of nowhere—to send them to I-Island?

And more importantly…

His gut told him something was wrong.

He trusted his instincts. And right now, they were screaming at him.

"Something's going to happen on this trip."

The logical thing would be to voice his concerns.

But then—he stopped himself.

What kind of hero backs down from danger?

His hands clenched into tight fists.

If there was trouble, that just meant one thing—

A real fight.

And if that happened?

"Then I'll crush whoever gets in my way."

A slow smirk crept across his face.

"I'll see just how much stronger I've gotten."
