A Third Letter from a Black Bird

Dear Osiris,

At least the only good thing that comes out of this useless cat chase is the fact that I get to go outside more often. Apologies for not being able to answer your letter until a week later you sent it. As of writing it, I have thirteen more days.

Recently, I have been going on more and more trips to the black market. I met a women there, she calls herself Mary Abigale, and she is a woman who sells organs from unspecified sources. Ignoring how illegal her business is, I met her three times. The first as Nico Sternin, and she handed me a pouch of five eyeballs. The second I went as a random passerby, just to obverse what she makes and have small talk.

According to her, she gets her body parts from dead people, but how do I trust her? I don't understand why Lord Sternin would buy from her, when she has such limited products. They come in bad condition too, not being preserved or in airtight contains, instead she lets them rot inside a bag. I suppose him being her only customer makes it easier to identify the things he bought, though.

So far, I'm pretty sure he bought a heart, lungs, and a brain. I'm not sure why.

The third time, I went again as Nico, but she was suspicious of me. Apparently, Nico had already beat me to it that day. It makes it easier for me, though. I kidnapped her, and am planning to interrogate her. Nobody cares about a con-artist being kidnapped, but I suppose it might spread rumors. Not that they know who I am, or what it ties to. Just saying, though.

Easter.
