A Tenth Letter from a Black Bird

Dear Easter,

How did your case go? Have you finished? Elias was found guilty, fortunately. For some reason, Mother didn't execute him, only bulging out his eyes. I suppose that's punishment enough, since a blind man is quite useless. I feel a little bad. The Tarnin family was quite influential, so it's a shame they fell for our convenience. I suppose I must be grateful.

I wonder what I should do with Elias. His whole family's title was stripped, and it seems he was kicked out of his family. How pitiful.

I guess he's trying to eschew seeing other nobles now, but I wonder if he would respond if I asked him to be the Royal Family's scapegoat. His pride will be ephemeral anyway, and eventually he must agree. Not like a murderer will find a job anyway. Soon, he'll come back begging on his knees.

He has good looks, I'll admit. Light blue eyes and pearl white hair, stained with dirt, light pale skin now with dry blood and dirty bandages. What a shame. What a true shame.

I haven't heard news from your side yet? I hope you're doing okay. Well, my dear brother is good at everything, so how much trouble could you get in~?

I don't have much to say, except now we can finally relax. Hopefully we'll be fully rested by the next big wall we have to climb.

I feel like the trial was mostly bullshit. I made up some clues here and there, but it seemed to work. Since, anything the crowned prince said is (probably?) law, haha.

I'm a little worried for the puppet, I hope it turns up soon~

Osiris

(p.s. I heard the puppet often enters your room. Perhaps when you're gone? haha, how cute)
