"I need to talk to you"

"What about, did another girls fight because of you?"

"No not that, about your sister she might be in danger"

"What do you mean that she might be in danger?" He asked getting all serious, finally someone to listen to me.

"That Jake guy is not a good person, I used to attend the same school with him when I was in west town Chicago along with his sister"

"You know Jake in person?"

"I will not say I know him person since we are not friends. I used to be in this gang back in West town, we were known and feared among students.

Jake's sister wanted me to date her but I turned her down"

"How old was she?"

"She should be about our age since this only happened a year ago before my dad suggested we moved to here in Boston"

"So what makes Jake a bad person and why is my sister in danger?"

"The gang I joined back in West town wasn't a good one but then I was dealing with some shit that left me in a messed up state. I only joined them to pass away my time.

Jake wanted so much to join us but the gang didn't want him in, when he was later accepted into the gang they didn't mention to him that he has to pay a price which turns out to be his sister.

It was every other day but I decided not to go to school, I stayed home. I never knew the boss among us has everything planned out, a text was sent to Jake's sister on my behalf.

That night she came to the location given to her and ended up being raped, and to make matters worst they all decided to wear mask so she wouldn't identify any of them.

Since then Jake has sworn to get his revenge on me on something I know nothing of, the only reason I wasn't locked up was that throughout the day of the incident I was with my dad"

"Oh my God, this is serious but what does that have to do with my sister, she doesn't know a hell about this, how is she now connected to this"

"Because of me, he is after Brianna because of me Eric" I said with so much guilt.

"I don't understand, what do you mean because of you?"

"I don't really know the reason he is after Brianna but what I know is that his motives are not a good one"

"We need to find Brianna immediately, you should have told me this sooner you know"

"I thought you won't believe me and I tried talking some sense into Brianna but she wouldn't listen"

"Yeah because am sure you didn't tell her the story you just told me"

"I tried telling her but she wouldn't listen nor hear me out"

"Let's just call her and know where she is, by what time is prom starting"

"7pm"

"We have an hour and thirty minutes to find Brianna, what I don't understand is why she isn't picking her calls"

"Am sure she is with Gia, let's go to Gia's house"

Getting to Gia's house she was about leaving the house when we met her, she seemed surprised to see us. I know Gia has a thing for Eric but Eric on the other side is not close to noticing it.

"What are you guys doing here, did Brianna inform you guys to pick me up?" She asked

"No she didn't but where is Brianna?"

"She left with Jake, is there any problem?"

"We think she might be in danger"

"This again, why can't you come plain with the reason why Brianna is in danger whenever she is with Jake"

"He already told me that but we don't have time to explain let's move" Eric said as we all left with my car.

"Have you tried calling her?" Gia asked Eric.

"Yeah but she is not taking her calls"

"Okay let's be positive about this, Brianna is just at prom with Jake nothing has happened, she is totally fine" Gia said, I knew she was worried about Brianna but we just need to keep trying and see if we can reach her.

I need to call the security guy that I hired a week ago to track Jake's every move, where he lives, how he eats everything.

"Brianna please be safe" Gia said, I hope she is.

Brianna's POV

Jake has been off lately, his behaviour and way of speaking has all changed. Something was off about him, I know am not supposed to be alone with him since I started getting this wrong vibes from him but like they said curiosity kills the cat.

He wasn't heading to the direction of the school and that got me scared, maybe I should have waited for Gia but I didn't want to drag her into this.

"Where are we going again?" I asked him for the second time.

"To pick my sister, she wants to attend the party with us"

"And she can't just meet up with us?"

"Nah, she is new in town so I don't want her getting lost"

"Okay" I replied, few minutes later we pulled up at a particular location and picked a girl up. She dyed her hair red, the way she was dressed got me more worried.

I need to call Gia, I picked up my phone and saw close to thirty missed calls from Eric and Gia, they must have been looking for me in school. I dialed Eric's number immediately and he picked on the first ring.

"Brianna where are you?" His voice came a little strong and angry.

"Am with Jake, we went to pick his sister up" I replied him while Jake stared me.

"I want to see you in school immediately, now" the way he sounded showed that something was off.

I took my phone and turned my GPS on, something is up and I just kept feeling it. I was surprised when Jake changed location again.

"Aaaah, where are we going this time around?"

"You will see" that was all he said, I wanted to panic but looking outside the street everywhere was dry. You can easily count how many vehicles that was passing by.

"Jake this has been fun but I need to head back to school my brother wants to see me for a reason I don't know"

"Sorry sweetie but you aren't going anywhere not until I am done with you"

"What do you mean?" I asked wanting to panick.

"Remember I still owe you an apology for ruining our date night I just want to surprise you and I just received a text message that the surprise is not yet ready so let's go grab some ice-cream"

He said with a sweet smile, maybe am over thinking things. But I just couldn't get Dax's words off my head.

I had to stop thinking negative, soon Jake pulled up at an ice-cream parlour as we all picked our choice of flavour.

Gia's POV

I was so tensed that I couldn't seat nor think straight, if anything happens to Brianna am going to kill Jake with my own hands.

"Hey, you need to seat she will be fine"

"Dax this is all your fault" I know it was not the right time to blame anyone but I just couldn't help it.

"My fault, but I tried warning her but she wouldn't listen"

"Because you didn't give her the reason to"

"Okay that's it, you too should stop arguing we don't need this right now"

As minutes passed I kept growing more anxious about everything. I was still pacing around outside the school compound when a car pulled up.

I recognised the car as Jake's since he came with it earlier to pick Brianna up. I rushed towards the car immediately I saw Brianna climbing out of the car.

I hugged her so tightly, I felt so relieved it was like someone took Something off my shoulder.

"Gia, I can't breathe"

"what happened?" I asked her in a whisper but noticed a girl staring at me. She was looking weird with her red hair and all.

"Hey, Gia" Jake greeted me with a smile which I returned.

"Hi Jake, I really need to talk to Brianna so we will see you later, bye" I said nervously and dragged Brianna to the garden.

"Gia, what is going on?"

"I don't want you close to Jake ever again"

"Why? Are you starting to believe Dax's words?"

"Yes I am, as long as it means keeping you safe"

"Am sorry I got you guys worried, but am afraid Dax might be right something if off about Jake"

"Am just glad you are okay"
