Chapter 36: Striving for Strength and Victory

Asking for recommendations~~~Please, oh please~~

Helen Blair turned her head to look at Mrs. Howard. Mrs. Howard smiled back at her, tucking Helen's hair gently behind her ear with an air of tender pity. "Poor child..." she murmured.

Her smile and her voice were reminiscent of a mother's warmth.

The corners of Helen Blair's eyes stung as she dropped her gaze.

But she dismissed it. It was not fair to watch Aunt Taylor lose her husband and suffer pain, just because she did not want Ruby Carter to be happy.

After some thought, Helen decided on how she would drop a hint to Mrs. Howard.

Naturally, she could not just go around telling people she had been reincarnated. Uncle Aaron did not believe her. She was certain nobody else would believe it either. She didn't want to be seen as mentally unstable again.

"Auntie, does Uncle Howard still trade stocks?" Helen asked.
