The moon hangs like a silver hook against the black velvet sky, and countless stars fill the sky, gleaming like shattered diamonds.

"It's been so long since I've seen a sky so pure and vast," Helen looks up appreciatively, "The skies in our cities are cut up by various buildings, even the most beautiful scenery is diminished!"

"That's why there are always advantages and disadvantages. Cities offer us many conveniences in life, but they also take away some natural pleasures," James replies.

"It would be nice if cities could be convenient and still retain these natural pleasures," Helen says with a smile.

James nods, "That's a good idea, human progress is ultimately about better enjoying our lives."

As Helen chats with him, she waits for him to bring up that matter. But, he keeps talking, and somehow never mentions it.
