As she said this, she laughed and pulled Helen into the villa.
As soon as they entered, deafening rock music blasted their ears. The strong rhythm could nearly make one's heart jump out.
Helen Blair frowned slightly, and Jane Howard dragged her along.
She called a taxi to take her back to school.
Jane didn't return until late that night. The combination of drugs, alcohol, and debauchery made her look exhausted, her face pale and tinged with green. But there was a sense of satisfaction in her expression.
Upon seeing Helen, she asked, "Helen, how come you came back early?" She walked over to her and asked cautiously, "How was it? Did you have fun? Were you happy?" She had seen Helen drink, so she didn't believe she could have escaped.
Helen seemed angry, pushing her away, "Jane, how could you take me to such a place? Those men there were disgusting! I didn't stay long before leaving!"
