Helen Blair wasn't surprised by his voice at all. She sneered and looked toward the direction from which the voice came, then shouted, "Oliver Hoffman, why are you hiding in the shadows? Are you brave enough to act, but not brave enough to show your face?"
"Miss Blair, you still have such an impolite way of speaking!" The man laughed, his voice as gentle as a spring rain.
A few burly men moved to Helen Blair's side, looking at her with unfriendly faces.
James Anderson quickly went to Helen Blair's side, protecting her behind him. He slightly turned his head, looked at her, and asked softly, "What's going on?"
Helen Blair looked at him, not knowing what to say.
Seeing her not speaking, James Anderson slightly furrowed his brows. However, now was not the time to pursue the reasons. He looked towards the direction of the voice, his face gloomy.
