Yas laughed and took the opportunity to walk over to her, leaning down and whispering in her ear, "Helen, you're so adorable."
Helen Blair suppressed her disgust and lowered her head, returning to the resting area. The coaches were also tired, and seeing them stop, and considering it was getting late, they said goodbye and left.
Only the two of them remained on the tennis court.
As dusk approached, the setting sun dyed the earth in shades of orange. Not far away was the football field, where cheers and shouts occasionally came from, making the silence on the tennis court even more pronounced.
Yas watched Helen Blair sitting in the resting area drinking water. He bounced the tennis ball in his hand; the light green ball hit the ground, making a faint collision sound before quickly landing back in his hand.
Yas smiled slightly and approached her.
Yas set aside the racket and ball. The ball quietly rolled away, making a soft rumbling sound as it went far.
