Helen Blair smiled. James Anderson was that kind of person. Once he decided to do something, he would do it to the best of his ability. He would never shirk his responsibilities.

"So young to be a deputy mayor..." Helen Blair noted.

Manager Murphy chuckled, "There are rumors that he has a strong background, but I don't see it that way. We have several deputy mayors here, they sound impressive, but their actual power is limited... If he really had such a strong background, he wouldn't be in a small place like this. Moreover, anyone with a notable background would have a different appearance, not like Deputy Mayor Bernard's."

Helen Blair lowered her head and smiled. It was probably difficult for anyone to guess his background and his reasons for being here, knowing that he could have been in a better position.
