Oliver Hoffman stood up straight and yelled at her, "Are you trying to get yourself killed?"

Seeing someone else lunging at her from behind, he quickly grabbed her away and kicked the attacker down. Oliver saw the gangsters getting bolder while everyone on his side had been injured. In desperation, he gave Helen Blair a push towards his car behind her and growled, "You go first."

After saying that, he turned around and blocked off the gangsters. Helen thought of getting in the car and driving it over to pick him up. As soon as she got into the car, she suddenly heard a loud "bang."

Helen's whole body trembled, her face turning pale. She lifted her head and saw the lead gangster holding a smoking black gun, with the barrel pointed towards the sky. The air was filled with a strong smell of gunpowder.
