A well-known expert once wrote a report stating that the most promising industry for the future is the water industry, ranking at the forefront.
The so-called water industry refers to water resources, sewage treatment, seawater desalination technology, and the like.
Water may become another type of oil.
Such statements are not exaggerated. Global Water Intelligence, a UK consulting firm, said that by December this year, the total assets managed by water resource funds will reach a record 20 billion Westorian dollars, an increase of 53% from 12 months ago. It's not surprising, according to data from Thomson Financial, since 2001, the stock prices of global water companies have risen 150%, while global blue-chip stocks have risen only 50%.
Scarcity generates profits. The famous water company, Francorica's Suiz Company, discovered that its global sales increased by 11.7%, with profits in Orienta growing by 20.3%.
