"Be careful!"
On the way back, Oliver Hoffman steadied Helen Blair, who stumbled as she walked shakily.
After regaining her balance, Helen looked back at Oliver with an apologetic smile, and said, "The coconut wine tasted refreshingly light; I didn't expect it to have such a strong aftereffect!" Although she felt tipsy at that point, her mind was still fairly clear. It was just her emotions that were a bit excited and a little uninhibited.
Under the streetlight, Oliver saw her flushed face, her eyes blurry and watery from the effects of the alcohol, with the corners of her mouth curling up in an intoxicating smile. She looked exceptionally enchanting.
Oliver felt his heart pounding, his body slightly warmed, and his grip on her hand involuntarily tightened.
"It's not all the coconut wine's fault; we drank so much white wine before that. Mixing drinks makes it easier to get drunk quickly."
