Helen knew from the beginning that this was a dream.
In the dream, there was a thick fog and she wandered through it, unable to differentiate north, south, east, or west as the fog constantly closed in and dispersed around her.
Out of nowhere, a gust of wind blew away the fog, and Helen found herself at a funeral.
An image of her was displayed in a black frame, while Amelia Walker and Sebastian Carter were crying next to it, and Ruby Carter was softly comforting Amelia.
In a flash, Helen realized she had come back to her previous life.
Why was she so sure?
Because in the photo, she appeared so haggard, nothing like her healthy and vibrant self now. Amelia, Sebastian, and Ruby all had their former elegant appearances, seemingly unaffected by any pain.
Helen stared at them, but they couldn't see her.
Helen clenched her fists.
