Warriors past 2

The elder lying down in pieces evaporated, and the energy was directly absorbed by Kali. Kali quickly used the energy to heal her body, which was beginning to get damaged from the Chaos energy she was using.

The other elders stood there, shocked for a moment. In the hundreds of thousands of years that they had been in power, this was the first time that someone equal to them had died, and it happened right in front of their eyes.

Their rage bubbled up when they saw Kali enjoying the energy she absorbed from their fallen comrade.

"How dare you kill one of us!"

Two elders attacked with their strongest attacks. One attacked with inferno fire and the other with heavenly ice. The inferno fire, which was fired off as an arrow, transformed into the shape of a phoenix, and the ice quickly transformed into a snow wolf.

Seeing the two attacks coming towards her, Kali calmly looked at them. She raised her eyebrow and said only one sentence, further enraged the elders.

"Weak. All of you are too weak."

She snapped her fingers again, and instead of that, only one person could feel the effects of what she did; everyone could feel it now. Kali activated her domain right in the middle of her enemy's existing domain.

When this phenomenon happens, only one outcome is possible: one of them has to die, but as she is fighting nine other enemies instead of one, she has to kill them all to survive.

Her domain, which normally only contained her strongest divinity, destruction was now also filled with Chaos energy. The rampant Chaos energy was strengthening the destruction energy to the point where Kali had difficulty controlling it.

Kali took control of the fight, with her domain helping her. The two attacks fizzled out as soon as Kali opened up her domain. The nine elders attacked simultaneously, this time instead of in groups. But all the attacks met the same fate as the first two. They were gone as soon as they got in contact with her domain.

After receiving all those attacks, she was done defending and went on the attack. She retook her blade and coated it with destruction and Chaos energy. These two energies were already deadly in their own right, but now that they strengthened each other, their deadlyness was multiplied several times.

She aimed her sword at one of the elders and slashed the air. When she cut her sword, the energy came out of the blade and was now on its way to the elder. The blade's energy was multiple times faster than the first time she attacked because she was more used to the energy now.

But the elder, who hadn't expected to see that deadly energy in front of him so fast, was caught off guard and immediately beheaded by her sword. She then looked at the two elders who had attacked her before and aimed her sword towards them. She let the sword go and, instead of dropping it, charged forward at an even faster speed than the energy that came out of it.

The two elders who were the target of that attack were quickly dealt with. She snapped her fingers again, and the energy of the three people she had killed was quickly absorbed by her and used again for healing. The longer this battle went on, the more her body got damaged.

One of the elders launched a space attack on her. That attack could have split a star in two, but Kali just let her domain handle it. That attack was quickly obliterated, and the energy from that attack was dissolved and reconstructed into a counterattack. She launched that energy off to the sender, who was now already panicking.

If it was just his own energy of space, he could've easily erased it or even blocked the attack, but the Chaos energy attached to it made that impossible. When he tried to nullify the energy, it was quickly blocked or bounced off of it because that is one of the functions Chaos energy has.

The attack launched at him arrived, and instead of slicing him up like his original magic would do, this one absorbed everything like a black hole. All of his powers were rapidly draining, and even his life force was forcibly being taken from him.

Seeing that there was no way out and dying was their only option, the other five elders quickly put their last plan into action. They all rushed towards her and began the process of gathering as much energy as needed. Through their action of gathering so much energy, nothing was left for her domain to feed off of, so she needed to use her own fuel to support her domain.

This wasn't their plan, but it was one of its advantages. Once set in motion, Nobody could stop it. The energy they gathered was enough for their plan. Their plan wasn't one where they powered up or miraculously gained more power. The plan was to have too much raw energy in their cores so that they would explode and, in the process, kill her.

"This is what you get for letting us get to this point."

the leader of the elders spoke for the first time. Kali tried to block whatever was going on, but she couldn't. She needed to support her domain because those monsters would be in complete control again if she didn't.

The elders finished gathering the necessary energy and started the process of overloading their cores. All the energy they gathered was quickly stored inside their bodies, overloading their cores. Their cores felt such raw energy, and the quantity of it was too much for them, and it let cracks show.

When this happened, a normal person would let the energy go, but for these monsters, this was their last chance to kill their enemies. They held the energy in and let their overloaded cores break apart. After many cracks in the cores, they finally gave in when they felt a tiny bit of Chaos energy that they absorbed in the atmosphere.

The explosion was so massive that it could have been the second Big Bang. It annihilated thousands of lower-level planets and even middle—and high-level planets. Many survived, but they would be unliveable for the coming millions of years.

Kali was in the middle of the explosion and was still floating in her original position. She coughed up blood and travelled back to her home planet. She arrived at her home planet to see it safe, and her barrier protected it from the explosion that destroyed many others.

She landed on the ground of her planet and immediately collapsed to the ground. Golden blood flowed out of almost every part of her body. She knew that she was dying. She knew that whatever attempts she would make wouldn't do anything at the moment. She used too much Chaos energy to block that attack, and her body was damaged to the point of no return.

Her subortement rushed towards her in worry.

"Lady Kali, let me help you."

The goddess of healing was the fastest to help her with her healing divinity, but it was futile. The Chaos energy isn't something that a normal goddess could treat.

"It is already too late for me, angel. I want to say some of my last words."

Kali took her hand away and didn't let her use any energy on her broken body anymore. The goddess still took hold of Kali's body and let it lean against her. There were thousands of gods around her at the moment. The only reason for their absence in the war was that the vast majority of them were low-level gods and couldn't do anything to those monsters.

She decided that you could only join the war if you were high-level to protect them. The vast majority of them looked up to Kali as their mother, as she was the one who guided them and trained them to be the people they were today.

"Hello, my children. The enemy who has been agonising our lives has finally been defeated. All those monsters have been taken care of, and you won't have to worry about them anymore."

This was happy news, but none of the people here were celebrating. They knew that their 'mother' paid a heavy price for defeating these enemies of theirs. Many were already on the verge of crying and cursing their weaknesses.

"Don't be like this, my children. You know how I always tell you guys to live. Live so that you don't have any regrets. That is what I will give you guys as a last gift. I hope you guys will make good use of it."

Just as she finished her sentence, she breathed her last breath. Her destroyed body couldn't operate any longer, and she accepted that she died. Every god in attendance wept and was enveloped in great sadness. The goddess of healing who was holding Kali let her tears fall on the destroyed body of her 'mother'.

But just as her tears came in contact with her body, something amazing happened. The body of Kali was dissolved into golden light particles and began to float around—first just around the gods, but then they travelled around the world. Everybody in that world felt it. The world itself was mourning the loss of Kali.

That day would be known in its history as Queen of Hearts Day. It was the day they would remember their mother/Queen/God sacrificing herself for the rest of the world's good.

.....

Kali, who saw only darkness, thought she was in the afterlife. That was until a voice woke her up.

[Do you want to live again?]

"Who are you?" Kali 'looked' around, but there was nothing there.

[Nobody important at the moment, just asking you a question. Do you want to live again?]

"Of course, I want to, but how would that help me if I want something I could never achieve?"

[Swear your loyalty to the master, and I shall let you live again.]

Kali was suspicious because it could've been the monster who was the reason why she died, who was playing tricks on her.

"Show me the master I am supposed to serve."

A hologram of Jack was shown in front of her. Seeing that it wasn't anyone from the monster tribe, she immediately put her anxiety away and started to think about it.

"I accept. I pledge my loyalty to that master. From now on, he will be my new master, but you have to make me live again."

[No problem.]

After hearing that, Kali's vision went pure dark. When she came to, she saw the man who was supposed to be her new master in a big room. Another woman was inside this room, and she sensed from her powers that she was only a bit weaker than me.

She looked at her master again and said the only thing that came to her mind was her way of fulfilling the promise. But before she could say anything, her new master interrupted her.

"Show your loyalty, Kali"

Those were all the words she needed to take her first step on this journey.
