"What did you just say?" she exclaimed, taken aback by his question. 


Another officer intervened, sensing the tension. "Madam, is everything under control? Is this maggot pestering you?" he asked, holding a hitting rod in his palm. 


Karalana continued, unfazed, "Am I allowed to eat, madam?" He glimmered in her eyes. 


"Don't worry, officer. I can take care of this one personally," the intervening officer assured, signaling that she would handle the situation. 


In the office, Edmond was explaining Andrew's current condition to Sanka. 


"He is still in his room, but boss, my concern is about his position. Won't it affect production? We can't really wait for him. I mean, what if it takes forever? Clearly, Kini is there for life." 


"Yes, I am aware of that, Edmond. If you can take up his position, there's no problem. But first, confirm with him if he is ready to give it up for you," Sanka replied.
