"Oh, and I am holding on to this phone from now on; tell the driver to buy you a new one," Sanka said before he asked Matt to bring his laptop to the bedroom. 


But curiosity prompted Matt to ask, "Boss, what news was that that got you so excited?" 


"It's a video of Karalana deeply kissing a woman. This will make Sharisha slowly doubt his intentions and perhaps hate him," Sanka explained with a satisfied grin, relishing the potential impact of the revelation. 


Matt, relieved, smiled in contentment. "Wow, Edmond finally bought his way up; he truly pulled the strings this time." 


Sanka couldn't agree less. "Yeah, he is learning and catching up after all." 


On the other side, Karalana was weighed down by the incident. He couldn't shake off the feeling that Sanka got what he wanted. He buried his head in his palms, grinding his teeth. "Damn you, Sanka!" he muttered.
