The Gym

Sabrina's Psychic Gym, located in the northeastern part of Saffron City, had earned the title of the Saffron Gym due to her victory in the official Gym Leader battle against Kiyo, the Fighting-type Gym Leader.

The Saffron Gym was renowned not for the strength of its Gym Trainers, but for the eccentricities of those who challenged it.

While many Gyms boasted powerful Gym Trainers, even the most challenging Gyms like the Pewter Gym would still attract many challengers.

The Saffron Gym was different.

While its Gym Trainers were indeed formidable, it was known as the most challenging Gym in the Kanto region, but most Trainers refused to enter it. That was because failing a challenge here meant enduring Sabrina's unique punishment, involving her Psychic powers.

Earning a Gym Badge was already a difficult task, but coupled with the potential for failure and subsequent punishment, which could last up to three days, it deterred all but the most confident challengers.

Yuga and Eusine stood before the imposing doors of the Saffron Gym, contemplating its reputation. As the official Gym of Saffron City, the Gym's exterior was grand and luxurious, aptly described as "lavish."

There were no guards at the Gym's entrance. As Yuga and Eusine approached, the Gym's massive doors automatically swung open.

Inside the Gym, they found no one in sight, just golden pillars everywhere.

"Is anyone here?" Eusine called out, but there was no response.

"This place gives me the creeps," Eusine remarked. "It feels so eerie."

Yuga nodded in agreement. The deserted atmosphere was indeed unsettling, resembling a Ghost-type Gym more than a Psychic-type Gym.

Suddenly, in one of the corridors, a room appeared, and a long-haired man in white clothing stepped out.

Surprised to see Yuga and Eusine, he asked, "Who are you? Are you here to challenge the Gym? I advise you to turn back; you cannot possibly be a match for Lady Sabrina."

Yuga shook his head and replied, "We're not here to challenge the Gym. We have a matter to discuss with Gym Leader Sabrina."

"Not here to challenge the Gym?" The man looked puzzled. "Well, then, you should really reconsider being here. This place isn't for casual visits."

"We genuinely need to see Gym Leader Sabrina. Could you please guide us?" Yuga insisted.

The man sighed and said, "Fine, fine. Since you're insistent, follow me."

With that, the man motioned for Yuga and Eusine to follow him.

They followed him through a labyrinthine maze of corridors, eventually reaching a massive door.

The Saffron Gym was truly immense, and without their guide, Yuga and Eusine would have been hopelessly lost.

With a forceful push, the man opened the door and said, "Lady Sabrina is inside. Go in."

As Yuga and Eusine entered, they found the interior of the door even more luxurious than the exterior, resembling a temple more than a Gym.

At the end of the battle arena was a giant bamboo curtain, and behind it, they could faintly see a figure seated on a large throne.

As they approached, the enormous curtain was suddenly drawn back, revealing the obscured face of a girl.

A girl with an aloof countenance, adorned with beautiful black hair, a crimson top, a black skirt, and tall black boots.

In her arms, she cradled an oddly peculiar little girl.

"That's the girl! She's the one who took Gon!"

Eusine suddenly pointed at the little girl in the arms of the teenage girl and said, "Hey, it's you! You're here too!"

The little girl in the arms of the teenage girl grinned strangely at Eusine, causing her face to turn pale with fear.

"Gym Leader Sabrina, I hope you can release Gon," Yuga said, ignoring the talking little girl.

With Yuga's King of Ghost and Celebi Blessing abilities granted him a keen sense of life force. He could feel that the little girl in Sabrina's arms lacked any life essence; in other words, she was not a human but a puppet.

"Hehe, you're talking about him, right?" The little girl still spoke instead of Sabrina.

As the little girl finished her sentence, Gon appeared next to Sabrina, bound by a psychic force.

"Big Brother Shimizu!" Gon struggled to shout to Yuga.

"He's mine now, and no one can take him!" the little girl said, giggling.

Gon attempted to use his psychic powers to counter Sabrina's mental influence, but he had only recently encountered the concept of psychic abilities and was no match for Sabrina.

"Gon belongs to himself, not to anyone else. Gym Leader Sabrina, please release him," Yuga continued.

"I don't care; he's mine now. But can you tell me what this is? Why do I feel a terrifying power coming from it? I asked this kid, but he doesn't seem to know." The little girl looked troubled and produced a feather emitting a seven-colored glow.

Rainbow Feather!

Yuga narrowed his eyes as he saw the feather in Sabrina's hand.

"Rainbow Feather!"

Suddenly, Eusine, standing next to Yuga, exclaimed in surprise. His tone was filled with an inexplicable excitement.

"Yuga, Yuga, that's the Rainbow Feather, right? Right?" Eusine grabbed Yuga's arm, his expression nervous.

Feeling his arm slightly sore from Eusine's grip, Yuga turned to him and asked, "You know about the Rainbow Feather?"

Eusine quickly nodded. "Yes, I'm friends with Morty, and his family has records about the Rainbow Feather."

So, it was information he had obtained from Morty. It seemed that even though Morty and Ecruteak Gym didn't know about the Rainbow Feather's existence in the Bell Tower, they were familiar with its legend.

"Well, now that you know it's called the Rainbow Feather," the little girl said, although her voice sounded sweet, it felt strange inexplicably.

Yuga was originally afraid of causing trouble and didn't want too many people to know about Rainbow Feather, but now he might not be able to hide it because of Sabrina.

"Gym Leader Sabrina, what will it take for you to return Gon and the Rainbow Feather to me?"
