When Bridges released his third Pokémon, both Yuga and Phoebe were surprised because it was also a Champion level Pokémon.

The Spiritomb is a species of Pokémon that often appears in the Sinnoh region. It shares a similar attribute with Sableye, except that the main attribute of Sableye is Dark, and the secondary attribute is Ghost; while Spiritomb's main attribute is Ghost, and the secondary attribute is Dark.

Seeing this Spiritomb emitting the same aura as Dusknoir, Phoebe's face turned pale. Two champion level Pokémon, is Dragonite going to be okay?

While Yuga was examining Spiritomb's strength, Gengar suddenly spoke to Yuga, "Bridges helped this Pokémon steal Muya's essence and caused Muya's death."

Upon hearing this, Yuga realized the situation. Over the years, Bridges had only managed to cultivate Dusknoir as a Champion level Pokémon. However, after obtaining Muya's essence, he had successfully make Spiritomb break through into a Champion level as well. This was all part of Bridges' plan to claim the Hoenn Champion position.

As soon as Spiritomb appeared, it joined forces with Dusknoir to confront Dragonite's mother. However, Dragonite's mother showed no fear.

While directing Dusknoir and Spiritomb to battle Dragonite's mother, Bridges thought to himself, "All of my trump cards have been revealed. Today, he must ensure nothing unexpected happens."

"Mega Sableye, go and deal with those two!" Bridges shouted at Mega Sableye who was idling nearby.

At this point, Bridges suspected that the overwhelmingly powerful Dragonite was likely not the young man's Pokémon. It could even be a protector sent by his family, or else the young man wouldn't be just watching their battle without intervening.

It is very normal for some big families to have some trump card Pokemon.

The more he thought about it, the more reasonable it seemed to Bridges.

Without Dragonite (Dragonite's mother), those two people have nothing to fear, Bridges thought.

Upon hearing its trainer's command, Mega Sableye's eyes gleamed with a sinister light, just like its owner.

This Pokémon was as ruthless as its master.

Seeing Mega Sableye charging towards them, Phoebe anxiously said, "What should we do?"

At this moment, Phoebe's thoughts were similar to Bridges. She knew that Yuga was a disciple of Mr. Kuni'o, and she believed that this Dragonite was sent by Mr. Kuni'o to protect Yuga.

As for why a Grass-type Master would send a Dragon-type Pokémon, Phoebe didn't have the mental capacity to delve into that question at this moment.

Yuga, on the other hand, remained calm and released his own Lapras.

Although Yuga's Lapras wasn't at the Peak Elite level, it had no problem dealing with Peak Elite level Pokémon. Yuga didn't think this Mega Sableye could be stronger than Steven's Mega Metagross.

As soon as Lapras emerged, it unleashed a powerful Hydro Pump towards the oncoming Mega Sableye.

Mega Sableye, upon seeing this, thrust its massive gemstone shield into the ground in front of it, successfully blocking Lapras's Hydro Pump. However, despite its defensive efforts, the force of Lapras's attack pushed Mega Sableye backward, leaving a long trace on the ground where its red gemstone shield had been lodged.

"Sableye!"

Mega Sableye, pushed back by Lapras's attack, roared in anger. Radiant light shimmered on the massive gemstone in front of it, and a yellow beam shot out from the gemstone, aimed at Lapras.

Seeing this, Lapras's four large fins underneath it stirred the air, generating countless water vapors that rolled in the atmosphere. A massive wave formed right in front of Lapras.

The rolling wave not only absorbed the power emanating from Mega Sableye's gemstone but also continued to surge forward, as if it intended to crush Mega Sableye.

Lapras's Surf move overwhelmed Mega Sableye, uprooting numerous trees in its path.

Witnessing this scene, Phoebe, involuntarily opened her mouth wide in astonishment, momentarily forgetting her own headache.

This strange Lapras seemed to be overly strong.

The battle between Lapras and Mega Sableye also drew Bridges' attention. He shouted at Mega Sableye, "What are you doing? Hurry up and deal with those two!"

Bridges hadn't anticipated that even with his two Champion-level Pokémon, they would still struggle against the Dragonite. The Dusknour and Spiritomb were being battered mercilessly by Dragonite's mother.

As time passed, seeing the Duksnoir and Spiritomb getting pummeled relentlessly by Dragonite's mother, Bridges grew increasingly impatient. He couldn't stand the fact that Yuga and Phoebe were still unscathed.

Bridges' impatience was shared by Mega Sableye. It initially thought they were up against a mere novice trainer but unexpectedly faced a formidable opponent.

Faced with the relentless attacks from Lapras's uninterrupted onslaught, Mega Sableye could only focus on passive defense. Fortunately, its defensive abilities were robust; otherwise, it would have collapsed long ago.

Through this battle with Mega Sableye and the previous battle with Mega Metagross, Yuga realized that the power gained from Mega Evolution didn't quite strong compare to power earned through hard work and dedication.

Mega Sableye was slightly weaker than a typical Peak Elite level, and Mega Metagross was slightly weaker than a true Champion level Pokémon.

It made sense, though. After all, this power was obtained through external means and couldn't rival the reliability of hard-earned strength.

By now, the area of the forest where they were battling had turned into a watery battlefield. The air was not only humid but also carried a sea-like scent.

It had to be said that battles between Peak Elite level Pokémon caused tremendous destruction. If this battle took place in a town, the entire town would likely have been reduced to rubble.

Yuga continued to command Lapras to concentrate and refine its Hydro Pump. Although the Hydro Pump were becoming thinner, their impact and penetration were growing stronger.

As the Hydro Pump attacks relentlessly hit Mega Sableye's gemstone, Yuga suddenly heard a cracking sound, and then he saw a crack appear on the massive red gemstone.

Seeing this crack, Mega Sableye was also astonished. It had never expected its sturdy gemstone to be damaged.

Mega Sableye wanted to give up using its gemstone as a shield, but the relentless assault from Lapras left it with no choice. It was caught in a dilemma.

Finally, unable to withstand Lapras's attacks any longer, the gemstone shattered with a loud crash, breaking into countless red dots that vanished into thin air.

As the large gemstone shattered, Mega Sableye reverted from its Mega Evolution state.

In its regular state, Sableye anxiously inspected its limbs, trembling as it picked up the small gemstone, roughly the size of a fingernail, which had fallen to the ground.

The large gemstone's original form was this small gemstone, which had been embedded in  Sableye's belly.
