Four Evolutions

On this day, Yuga brought out several Potential Evolution Potions and arrived at the Ecopark. He called over Hoothoot, Zorua, and Liepard.

These Potential Evolution Potions were obtained by Yuga over the past two years from the System's Trainer Store.

In addition to these Potions, Yuga had also acquired various items, special Poké Balls, and more from the store, though most of them weren't particularly valuable and had been left unused in the System's space.

During the initial period after returning, Yuga's emotions were a bit off, and then the incident with Florges happened, causing him to forget about the Potential Evolution Potions.

The reason he had called Hoothoot, Zorua, and Liepard was to help them undergo Potential Evolution.

Hoothoot's mother was an Elite level Pokémon, and his father had an Indigo Potential. It was only a matter of time before he broke through to Elite level. It wouldn't look good if he lagged behind.

Although Hoothoot had a lazy personality, but no matter how worst he would become in the future he could always have Noctowl keep an eye on him like how Ninetales and Houndoom treated Vulpix.

As for Zorua, it would be a pity if such a precious Pokémon only had a yellow Potential.

However, if Zorua evolved its Potential, then in the entire Zorua family only Liepars that would have yellow Potentials, which wouldn't be conducive to family harmony.

After much thought, Yuga decided to go ahead and evolve Liepard's Potential as well.

When these three Pokémon arrived, they brought their families along.

Hoothoot's parents both came, and Zorua's mother and sister (Liepard's wife and daughter) also joined them.

Potential evolution was a big deal, so both families took it seriously.

The Potential evolution process for these three Pokémon went smoothly, especially for Liepard. As soon as its Potential evolution was completed, its level increased by several stages, finally giving it some father authority.

After the Potential evolution of Zorua and Liepard, both Purrloin and Zoroark cast grateful looks at Yuga, especially Purrloin, who looked at Yuga with sincere gratitude.

Due to Hoothoot's lazy nature, even after its Potential evolved, its strength didn't change significantly.

Noctowl and Chatot were naturally happy about Hoothoot's Potential evolution, but their emotional changes didn't changes much.

Unlike Zorua, Liepard, and their families, Noctowl and Chatot had a stronger sense of belonging to YoYo Day Care and considered themselves true members of the Day Care. They could accept Yuga's kindness more genuinely and keep it in their hearts.

Zorua and Purrloin family are worst in these regard. Although they have integrated into the big family of YoYo Day Care, they cannot treat Yuga completely sincerely.

Even the Persian was a bit better off than Zorua and the others.

Although Persian usually loved to cause trouble and acted coldly towards Yuga, it actually genuinely recognized Yuga and Day Care.

Most of its mischievous behavior was due to habit and species traits.

The why Zorua and the others acted this way might be related to their previous experiences as wanderers.

Yuga understood their attitude, but he didn't pay too much attention to it. With time, everyone would naturally come to understand each other.

Unfortunately, Potential Evolution Potions could only be used to evolve the Potentials of Pokémon below the green level. If a Pokémon had green Potentials or higher, the Potions wouldn't work.

Otherwise, Yuga can use the remaining potions in his hand to push Zorua and Zoroark's qualifications directly to blue.

According to the System, there were items available in the Trainer Store that could help green potential Pokémon complete their potential evolution.

However, Yuga had never managed to obtain one so far.

Potential Evolution Potions were blue quality items, and Yuga had come across them a few times. Higher quality items start with purple quality at the lowest, and Yuga never found it yet.

Althought he had found items with gold quality that more advanced than purple quality but he only found it once.

Yuga's luck in this regard had not been the best. If he were truly lucky, he would have found purple quality items easily, and even gold quality items wouldn't be a problem.

However, Yuga had come to accept this. Even without purple or gold items, white quality items like Berries and Poké Balls were quite valuable.

Yuga had lost count of how many times they had helped him in the wild, and the best part was that they were infinitely renewable.

Zorua and the others underwent potential evolution in the main Ecopark, so after it was complete, they each went their separate ways.

Just as Yuga was about to leave as well, Vulpix appeared in front of him.

It bit onto Yuga's pant leg and led him to the gateway to the Volcano Sub-Ecopark.

"What's going on? Did your parents give you a little brother or sister?" Yuga jokingly said to Vulpix.

Vulpix released Yuga's pant leg and gave him a glare, as if saying, "Stop fooling around!"

"Alright, alright, just a joke, don't be mad. So, what's going on?" Yuga crouched down and gently patted Vulpix smooth fur.

"Vulpix..."

You'll know when you get there!

Vulpix howled at Yuga, then stuck out its tongue and made a funny face before dashing off.

Yuga shook his head in amusement and followed Vulpix to the Volcano Sub-Ecopark.

However, the first thing Yuga saw upon arriving there was the affectionate display of Vivillon and Volcarona not too far away.

The two of them were dancing in a beautiful, eye-catching double Quiver Dance that left Yuga feeling a bit overwhelmed.

So high profile! Why are these two making their love affair so public?

Out of sight, out of mind! Yuga grumbled as he finally found Vulpix.

As it turned out, it wasn't Vulpix who wanted to see Yuga, but rather its parents, Houndoom and Ninetales.

When Yuga saw Houndoom and Ninetales, Ninetales gently pushed out a bright red Fire Stone.

"A Supreme-grade Fire Stone?" Yuga exclaimed in surprise.

Ninetales nodded slightly.

Yuga knew that in the vein of Fire Stones rewarded by the system, there was bound to be a Supreme-grade Fire Stone. However, he hadn't expected it to appear so soon.

After some thought, Yuga picked up the Supreme-grade Fire Stone from the ground and beckoned to Vulpix. "Come here!"

Vulpix moved sluggishly over to Yuga's feet, gazing at the Supreme-grade Fire Stone in Yuga's hand with eager anticipation.

"How about it, do you want it?" Yuga asked as he waved the Supreme-grade Fire Stone in front of Vulpix.

"Vulpix, Vulpix!"

I want it! want it!

Vulpix vigorously nodded, clearly excited.

"Next time, will you still stick your tongue out and make faces at me?" Yuga teased.

Vulpix vigorously shook its head, no more tricks!

Yuga didn't make things difficult for Vulpix and simply tossed the Supreme-grade Fire Stone to it.

The moment Vulpix clamped down on the Supreme-grade Fire Stone with its mouth, the evolution process began.

Unlike the lazy Hoothoot, Ninetales had always been one of the most diligent and hardworking among the new generation of Pokémon in the Ecopark, so receiving this Supreme-grade Fire Stone as a reward was well-deserved.

After the evolution light dissipated, a Ninetales with shiny fur stood before Yuga, its eyes filled with gratitude as it looked at him.

"Ninetales!"

"Houndoom!"

Ninetales and Houndoom were also delighted that their child had completed its evolution and potential transformation. They too gave Yuga grateful looks.
