Chapter 1-Reincarnation

Alex was laying down on his bed. His stomach had been growling for a while now. There was no food in his apartment and he had limited money left. He had been working part time jobs to survive.

Besides doing his part time jobs he would read reincarnation, fantasy and lewd novels on WebNovel.

He took his phone and checked the time. It was currently 17:30 PM and it was raining heavily outside.

He sighed heavily before getting off the bed. He walked to the bathroom, where he walked over to the sink and opened the faucet.

Water started pouring out of the faucet and into the sink. Alex used the water to wash his face and after washing his face he closed the faucet.

He walked back to his bedroom where he put on some clothes. He then walked over to the bedstand where he took out his leftover money from the drawer.

He then took his umbrella before leaving his apartment to go to the convenience store about an hours walk from his apartment.

While he was walking he saw what looked like a homeless man on the side of the road. He remembered that his parents would tell him to help people in need, before they died in an accident.

So he approached the man and asked,"How can I help you sir?"

The homeless man looked at the young man and a smile formed on his face. No one was willing to help him and they even tried to avoid him, but here stood a young man in front of him and was currently offering him some help.

The homeless man then smiled before saying,"Thank you young man. I just need two pounds to get a taxi to go back home. Would you mind giving it to me?"

Alex was surprised when he heard this because he thought the man was homeless, but he any way took out two pounds and gave it to the old man.

He then continued walking towards the convenience store.

After about an hour, Alex reached the convenience store before he closed his umbrella and entered the building.

Upon entering the convenience store, he saw a young woman behind the counter.

She was in her early twenties and she looked like a top-notch beauty in her own right.

Her boobs were rounded and ample, but it was her perfectly defined hips that made her stand out.

She was wearing a pink jacket with black jeans that made her ass look even bitter.

He then looked at her and smiled before greeting the young woman,"Heya Katrina." She is Alex's coworker at the store and Alex would work night shifts.

The young woman was currently on her phone scrolling through her social media account and laughing at the funny videos.

She looked up at the young man when he heard his voice and raised her brow before placing her phone on the counter.

She then spoke to the man with a surprised tone in her voice,"Alex? Today is Tuesday, is it not your day off today?"

"Yes it is, I just came over to buy something to eat," replied Alex as he approached the young woman.

He then gazed upon her facial features which were also perfect. She had a small pointed nose and red plump lips. Her eyes were big and rounded and were neon pink in colour. She also has short pick hair that reached her shoulders.

He then walked towards the shelves were he began picking out food for himself while he spoke to the young woman,"So, what have you been up to these days?"

"Nothing much, just going to college and doing some work," replied Katrina.

After picking out food for himself, he went to the counter where he paid for his stuff before leaving.

"Well, see ya around," said Alex before exiting the store.

He then walked back to his apartment. The rain started pouring heavily with hail and Alex began to run.

He reached the crosswalk where the light turned red. He tried to stop but instead of stopping, he slipped and fell on his backside onto the road.

The food that he had bought, scattered around on the pavement after it slipped from his hand. His umbrella also flew away, being carried away by the wind that blew heavily with the rain.

Just then the infamous Truck Kun appeared and ran over Alex, putting him out of his miserable life.

The truck driver had attempted to stop, but given the truck's weight and size, he was unable to slow down fast enough and wound up hitting Alex.

Chaos arose from the surrounding environment. People rushed towards the scene to check the condition of the young man who was in his early twenties. The truck driver exited his vehicle with a phone in his hand.

(Hello, what is your emergency?), asked the voice on the other side of the call.

"Yeah, uh, some guy just walked and fell on the road in front of oncoming traffic...I tried to stop but I could not," said the truck driver as he spoke into the phone.

(What type of vehicle do you drive? And where did the accident take place?), asked the voice on the other side of the call.

"I drive a large truck , the accident is on Baker Street," replied the truck driver.

(Do not worry, help is on the way.), said the voice on the other side of the call.

"Yeah, thanks," said the truck driver as he hung up the call. He then made his way to the group of people who had gathered around the young man, Alex.

After a few minutes, the emergency services arrived, but they could not do anything to save the young man.

The last thing that the young man heard before he passed away was a manly voice, which sounded a little bit robotic.

In Hyde Park, one of the states in Chicago, Alex woke up underneath a tree. He looked at his surroundings and saw a lot of people bustling around the walkways, bikers riding their bikes on the bike paths and cars being driven on the road.

It was during the rush hour after all and people were going to work while others were going to school.

Alex kept on looking around for a while and came to the conclusion that he was not in the United Kingdom anymore.

He saw an advertisement on a billboard and figured out that he was in Chicago.

He stood up and started walking around when he passed a group of women in their early twenties. It seemed like they were headed to their college. And by guessing, he figured that they were students from The University of Chicago.

A girl from their group stopped and looked at the young man. He has scarlet red hair with sapphire blue eyes. He was wearing a black long sleeved t-shirt with blue track pants.

The boy looked like her stepbrother who went missing two years ago. She called out to the boy using his name to see whether it was him or not.

"Alex...," said the young woman as she called out to the young man.

When Alex heard his name being called out, he stopped and looked around where he then saw a young woman looking at him.

She has scarlet red hair with emerald green eyes. She was wearing a maroon long sleeved jacket which had Chicago and the UChicago logo printed on the chest. She was also wearing blue jeans that showcased her beautiful figure.

When the young woman saw Alex turning back to look at her, her heart started beating rapidly.

'It is really him,' thought the young woman as tears started to form in her eyes.

She then ran towards him and hugged him as she began crying, while scolding the young man for his irresponsible behaviour.

"Where have you been for the last two years?! Do you know how worried me and our parents were?! How irresponsible can you be?!" scolded the young woman as she continued to sob while she hugged Alex.

Alex was surprised at the turn of events and asked the immediate question that came to his mind,"Um...I am lost. Who are you again?"

The young woman was so surprised that Alex did not recognize her and was quick to ask the man about it with shock in her voice,"Alex do you not recognize me?"

Alex rubbed the back of his head as he confirmed that he indeed did not remember the her,"Uh... yes?"

The young woman was shocked by this and quickly introduced herself to the man,"It is me - Alexa, your older sister!"

Alex showed no signs of remembering her and she sighed heavily before looking at her friends and telling them that she was bailing on them and telling them that he was not attending college today.

"Sorry guys, but I will have to bail on you guys. Carry on without me as I will not be attending college today," said Alexa as she looked at her friends with an apologetic expression on her beautiful face.

Her friends were also in no mood to go to college after seeing their shy and reserved friend talk to a guy and were quick to ask her about the relationship she shared with him.

"Nah girl, we are not going anywhere unless you tell us what your relationship with this handsome young man is," said one of the out going girls as she eyed Alex up and down.

Alexa flushed red with embarrassment as she quickly scolded her friend and explained her relationship with him.

" What are you thinking?! This is my younger brother!" said Alexa as her face flushed red.

Her friend quickly got defensive as she replied to her friend, which only made Alexa get more embarrassed.

"My my...What were you thinking Alexa, I was just asking about your relationship with him that is all," said the young woman.

When her other friends saw Alexa getting more embarrassed, they laughed before telling their friend to stop teasing her.

"Hahaha...that is enough Layla, stop teasing her," said the group before leaving Alex and Alexa alone.

Alex was quite amused by how quickly this girl got embarrassed and he was quick to make a remark about it which only made her more embarrassed as she covered her face.

"You know, you are really cute when you are embarrassed," said Alex.

The young woman then looked at Alex and said,"Idiot," before running away.

Alex chuckled and followed the young woman all the way to her home.

Alex looked up at the building and was surprised. It was a two story apartment, which had a balcony to look at the beautiful view of the city's landscape.

He looked at the young woman who invited him to enter the house.

"Come in," said Alexa as she looked at Alex.

She then called out to their parents to come down to see who has come to visit them.

"Mom and Dad, come and see who is here!" screamed Alexa as she called out to their parents.

Their mother, Bethany, was in the laundry room doing some laundry. She came out of the laundry room when she heard her daughter calling and made her way to the living room.

She has long golden hair with emerald green eyes. She was wearing a green short sleeved t-shirt with blue jeans that accentuated her model-like figure.

When she entered the living room, she was shocked as her eyes laid on someone very familiar.

Tears formed in her eyes as she approached the young man.

"Alex...is that you?" asked Bethany as she looked at Alex.

"Yes mom, it is Alex. I found him when I was walking to college with my friends," said Alexa as she took the credit of "finding" Alex.

Bethany quickly hugged Alex when her daughter confirmed that it was him.

She started crying as she questioned the boy about his whereabouts in the last two years.

"Where have you been in the last two years Alex?! Do you know how worried I have been about you?!" asked Bethany.

"Mom, Alex does not remember anything. Do not stress him too much," said Alexa as she cautioned her mother.Alexa then introduced the woman to Alex.

"Alex this is our mother, Bethany," said Alexa as she pointed at their mother.

Bethany immediately got worried as she looked at Alex and asked with a worried tone,"Why, what happened? Why does he not remember anything?"

Alex then replied to her questions and said,"I got into an accident and I have temporary amnesia."

He was not lying about getting into an accident, but he totally lied about having temporary amnesia. After all, he did not want to appear as suspicious to the women and decided to lie.

Bethany panicked when she heard about Alex getting into an accident and was quick to ask whether he was fine.

"Accident?! Are you okay?!" asked Bethany as she looked all over Alex body to make sure that he was okay.

Grrrr~

Before Alex could answer, his stomach growled to show that he was hungry. He got embarrassed and tried to hide his face using his hands.

When Alexa saw this reaction, she began to laugh at her younger brother as she commented on his reaction.

"Hahaha...aw look at how cute you are when you are embarrassed," said Alexa as she used Alex's words against him in an attempt to get him back for earlier today.

When Bethany heard Alex's stomach growl she stood up and asked him what he wanted to eat.

"Aw my baby is hungry. Let me go make food for you. What do you want to eat?" asked Bethany as she looked at her son.

"Can I please have Mac and cheese?" asked Alex as he looked up at Bethany.

Bethany quickly replied to Alex with a motherly tone,"Sure you can sweetie. Do not be so reserved around me I am your mother, you can ask me for anything okay?"

"Yes mom," replied Alex.

"Good," said Bethany as she made her way to the kitchen to make Mac and cheese for her son.
