Skillfully opening the system interface, Allen clicked on the job shop. The national war had ended, and his balance stood at just over 2.07 million merit points.
Reaching this position exceeded Allen's expectations.
"According to my previous thinking, the Training Accelerator Card is necessary. It can rapidly increase the military power of my territory and prepare for the next war," Allen thought.
"As for the spirits of nature, there's no urgent need. I already have a fairy, and having a Holy Fairy can provide additional benefits. I haven't heard of anyone owning a Holy Fairy in the Lane Principality," he considered. "The rest is just experience points and creatures; gold coins don't need to be considered."
Allen pondered and first opened the chapter on the accelerator cards. "The more advanced the accelerator card, the more cost-effective it is, so I'll definitely buy the most advanced one."
Allen selected the Advanced Knight Training Accelerator Card. Glancing at the price of 400,000 Merit Points, he felt a slight sting. "Buy the Advanced Knight Training Accelerator Card!" he decided.
Taking a deep breath, he made the purchase. Allen was aware of the card's immense value, given his past experience with training knights.
The Knight Training Accelerator Card could transform even knights with potential into formidable warriors through cultivation and potion use. This potential was incredibly valuable.
Albert, who had been an Earl for over 20 years, had hundreds of knights, mostly bronze knights. Only a select few reached the status of silver knights. By using the Knight Training Accelerator Card, Allen could surpass Earl Albert's decades of progress within a few weeks.
"400,000 merit points for a thousand potential knights and saving decades of time—it's a worthwhile investment," Allen concluded, stowing away the golden knight training accelerator card.
Next on the list was the Warrior Training Accelerator Card, which was thankfully more affordable than the knight's. "Buy ten Advanced Warrior Training Accelerator Cards!" Allen decided, reducing his merit balance by another 400,000.
With ten lavender warrior training accelerator cards in his inventory, he was ready for the next step.
"Now, let's take a look at the chapter on the spirits of nature," Allen thought, eager to explore the options. With four fairies and twelve spirits of nature, he had already surpassed Earl Albert's collection.
"Fairies are unnecessary at the moment, but I'll get a Holy Fairy to see what it's all about," he decided.
Allen spent 500,000 merit points to acquire a Holy Fairy without hesitation. A green light materialized in front of him, and he felt a surge of life energy throughout the land.
The fairies and spirits of nature in his castle were drawn to the presence of the Holy Fairy. Even the crops in Rose Town began to ripen instantly.
The green light gradually faded, revealing a girl with green hair and pointed ears—a Holy Fairy.
Her emerald eyes and perfect features left Allen in awe. "Are you my Holy Fairy?" he asked.
The Holy Fairy responded, "Yes, I have this title in my mind. I remember your scent waking me from chaos. Are you my master?"
Allen stepped back slightly, feeling embarrassed by the girl's closeness. She wore only thin green leaves, leaving her graceful figure barely covered.
He explained, "Yes, I am your master. My name is Allen. What about you?"
The Holy Fairy admitted, "I don't have a name. I just woke up from chaos."
"Then, I'll give you a name," Allen offered.
The Holy Fairy agreed with a smile.
Without hesitation, Allen named her Lucy. The Holy Fairy, now named Lucy, happily jumped around the room. Allen then asked if she could restore the room to its original state.
Lucy nodded and began to make the flowers and trees in the room gradually disappear into strands of green light. This power amazed Allen, as it seemed Lucy could manipulate plant senses and even create and dispel plants at will.
It left him wondering if this ability was a form of magic.
