Marco quickly arranged accommodation for a thousand people and called upon the ten Green individuals who had previously resided here. After all, they were the first group of people to experience the gifts of God, and they possessed the knowledge and methods needed to guide this new group.
Marco instructed Green and the others to train 100 people each in order to teach these 1,000 rookies the skills of becoming knights. Then, they set off towards Sirius Castle.
Although Marco was uncertain about the purpose the adults had in mind for him, he was convinced it must be of great importance.
Upon arriving at Allen's Sirius Castle, instead of being taken to the main castle, Marko was led to a small three-story building by a maid who had been waiting for him at the city gate.
"Sir, where is this?" Marco asked, looking curiously at Allen in the castle.
As an official, Marco lacked the authority to reside in the castle. The main castle and the conference hall were the places he visited most frequently. However, this particular building was entirely unfamiliar to him.
Upon seeing Marco, Allen greeted him with a smile. "Marco, you're here, come in!" He waved for Marco to approach.
Marco walked up to Allen, still wearing a puzzled expression as he surveyed his surroundings. Despite being a castle, it appeared quite disorganized, with books and clothes scattered about. The castle hall was filled with test tubes and peculiar items, initially presenting a messy appearance.
"My lord, why does this castle look like this..." Marco began, then paused, realizing he was in Allen's domain.
Allen, in response to Marco's comment, chuckled. "What? Do you find this place unsettling?"
He gestured towards the upper floors. "Go upstairs and take a look."
"It's not that I dislike it," Marco replied hesitantly. "It's just that I find it... rather astonishing."
The two quickly ascended to the second floor. Allen confidently walked to the innermost room and kicked the door open.
"Hahaha, I did it! Advanced potions! I'm truly a genius. Though not yet a high-level potionist, I've successfully created high-level potions! If I use those top-tier magical plants, it might be even better!" The room contained a disheveled man, his face adorned with a wild beard, who laughed exuberantly.
Marco found the sight unbearable to behold. "Nick, can you actually brew advanced potions?" he asked, looking at the unkempt man in surprise.
Nick turned around to face Allen, bowing respectfully. "Sir, indeed, I've successfully concocted a high-level potion. It's incredible! I may be the world's first intermediate potionist to create a high-level potion. I'm overjoyed!"
Allen, with his bonus halo enhancing potion abilities, showed little concern about Nick's accomplishments. "Nick, how close are you to becoming an advanced potionist?" he inquired.
"Thanks to your tremendous support, I've reached my current level. My lord, I've attained the rank of a senior intermediate potionist and should be ready to advance in a month or two," Nick replied with a bright smile, displaying a set of somewhat discolored teeth.
"Oh, Nick! For goodness sake, stay away from me," Allen exclaimed, taking a step back while covering his nose. "You really need to pay attention to your personal hygiene!"
"Sir, I apologize. I've been deeply engrossed in my research lately," Nick admitted with an embarrassed smile.
Allen moved further away, nudging Marko towards Nick. "Nick, today I've come to see you for a reason: to create custom potions for Marko and prepare some advanced ones for him as well."
Marco, initially disgusted by Nick's appearance, suddenly showed excitement upon hearing Allen's words. "Marco, are you at level six now?" Allen asked.
"Yes, my lord. I recently advanced to the sixth level," Marco replied with excitement, already understanding what Allen was getting at.
"Good. It means you have potential. With the right resources, you can go far," Allen said with a smile. "Starting today, you'll receive the resource support I'll provide. I hope you won't disappoint me and become the second golden knight under the leadership of Sirius."
Touched by Allen's words, Marco knelt down in gratitude. "Thank you for your support! Marko won't let you down!"
"Alright, Marco, work with Nick and let him determine which potions are best suited for you," Allen instructed. "Nick, during this time, prepare some more potions."
"Yes, sir, I'll do my best," Nick agreed, grinning and revealing his less-than-pleasant teeth to Marco.
Then, an overwhelming odor overcame Marco, making him feel as if he were on the brink of unconsciousness. He exclaimed, "My nose, what is that? It smells like death!"
Marco covered his nose and retreated a few steps. "Nick, you must do something about this!" Allen urged.
Nick blinked and replied, "Sir, if I take a bath, it will consume a lot of my research time, and why are you keeping such a distance from me? Come closer; I need to examine something for you."
Resigned to his fate, Marko hesitantly approached Nick, enduring the unbearable scent. However, it soon became too much for him to bear, and he tried to escape, only to be caught by Nick.
"Don't worry; it'll be over soon. Just be patient and think about the moment you become a golden knight!" Nick reassured him as he continued his work.
Marco's face turned blue, but for the sake of his future, he tolerated the discomfort and moved closer to Nick.
But as the situation intensified, he muttered, "I can't... I just can't."
Eventually, Marco couldn't endure any longer and lost consciousness.
