Chapter 104: The Tiger Roars in the Mountain Forest_1

The failure of Imperial Court agents to locate anyone didn't mean that Little Kingfisher couldn't do it.

Little Kingfisher resented the ruthless brutality of the Black Wolf Guard and vowed to root them out of nearby villages to avenge the dead birds.

At the King of Beasts' command, not only did the birds swarm, but the wild animals in the forest also began to grow restless, eager to break free and join the fray.

Countless venomous snakes emerged from the cracks of the mountains and swam across the river to human settlements, searching for suspicious targets.

The villagers on the other side of the river clearly felt that the number of snakes in their fields and hills had increased several times compared to the past.

Fortunately, the snakes didn't attack people as they passed by. Even so, the sight was enough to make one tremble with fear.

Some of the more timid villagers simply hid in their homes, shutting their doors and windows, too afraid to work in the fields.
