A murder case?

Sylvia Thompson's face turned slightly pale, but she tried to steady her emotions and feigned innocence: "Officer Andrews, did you make a mistake?"

Before Sylvia finished speaking, Maureen Fitzell came over and said: "Officer Andrews, you must be mistaken! How could Sylvia be involved in this murder case? She has always been with me these days."

Oliver Andrews glanced at Maureen but didn't say anything.

Ling stepped forward and said, "Ms. Fitzell, we police officers won't wrong a good person, nor will we let a bad one go. Speaking of which, this case has something to do with you, too. You should also come with us."

Surprised, Maureen widened her eyes and looked at Ling, "It has something to do with me too?"

"Yes." Ling nodded.

Maureen asked further, "What does it have to do with me? You don't suspect me as a criminal, do you?"

For a moment, Maureen felt somewhat afraid,

Not because of guilt, but a very instinctive fear.
